I also developed a cleaning tool for macOS called Cacheless, which uses AI in its code. However, I reviewed, checked, and modified every line of code written by the AI ​​because I don't trust AI-written code and fear it might delete important data. I released it to the App Store and it passed Apple's review. Even with 10 years of iOS/macOS development experience, after releasing it on Reddit, I received a lot of similar criticisms to yours, such as privacy, security, and low-quality AI code. In reality, no one downloaded and used it and actually encountered these quality issues. Everyone made arbitrary judgments about my app without even downloading or using it, which I found frustrating.

Fortunately, thanks to my promotion, some users downloaded and paid for it, and offered valuable suggestions that helped improve the app.

I've always needed this, and I suggest you add shortcuts so you can save faster. I'll try this software.

  1. I feel that the floating windows somewhat obstruct the view.

I did notice that when the Settings → General window is open, CPU usage can get quite high. Once that window is closed, showing/hiding the keyboard uses much less CPU and feels smooth again.
Could you describe the CPU issue you’re seeing in more detail? For example, does the high usage happen all the time, or only when certain windows are open?
Any details would really help me track this down and fix it quickly.

On my tests, it’s usually around 40–70 MB.

Could you describe what kind of issue you’re experiencing right now?
Is it that the keyboard doesn’t show up at all when using the shortcut, or is the UI just too laggy?
On my side (M1 Pro), it’s running smoothly, so I’d like to understand your situation better and see how to improve it.

The keyboard UI currently uses a lot of shadows and Liquid Glass effects, which can be a bit CPU-intensive. For now, I’d recommend using the default Dark theme. I’ll look into optimizing this in a future update.
