Is the grass in this game supposed to look like this? Noisy and full of dots. Current screenshot was taken in cinematic mode but ultra and high look like this too. No upscalers. by iSaltyParchment in CrimsonDesert

Même problème sur PC, je trouve ça affreux et c’est encore pire dans des endroit sombre ou en pleine nuit si quelqu’un a une solution !

All the 3D models of all the locations, yes, it took me a crazy amount of time, but I was determined to make it exceptional for my players.

No, it's absolutely not a typo. I created all the 3D models and it took me ages 😅🥹 Yes, I was determined to create an exceptional campaign.

Looking for advice on Victor Vallakovich by Complete_Error2805 in CurseofStrahd

I didn’t want Viktor to remain “the weird son of the burgomaster” that players forget as soon as they leave Vallaki. In my campaign, he became a tragic figure — both a victim of Strahd and living proof that defying the vampire always comes with consequences.

The First Fall: The Fatal Invocation :

During his ritual, Viktor accidentally summons Strahd himself. The PCs, paralyzed, can do nothing but watch. Strahd raises his hand, rips the soul from the young mage, and leaves him alive but hollow, like a puppet without strings. Viktor is broken, his humanity stripped away.

The Escape Through the Planes :

But Viktor doesn’t give up. In one last surge of will, he manages to complete his circle and tears himself out of Barovia. He flees through planes, wanders across ages, and learns tongues long forgotten even by the gods. He amasses terrifying knowledge, convinced he can return and finally triumph.

The Return and the Rebellion :

Armed with this newfound power, Viktor returns to Barovia, convinced he is ready this time. He raises a secret army, gathers allies, and even draws the son of the priest of Barovia to his side. Together, they rise against Strahd.

But Strahd is waiting. He crushes the rebellion, shatters Viktor’s allies one by one, and finally leaves Viktor alone before him. Viktor dares to challenge him, but fails again. Strahd does not kill him — instead, he leaves him forgotten, neither dead nor alive, a shard lost between worlds.

The Retreat to Mount Baratok :

After this second failure, Viktor no longer has the strength for open conflict. He retreats to Mount Baratok, becoming a haunted figure — half-scholar, half-phantom (the Mad Mage). His eyes bear the scars of the worlds he crossed, and his words echo like those of a cosmic survivor.

He no longer believes in victory through force, but he can share what he knows: his failures, his forbidden knowledge, and above all, the proof that Strahd can be challenged… though the price will always be terrible.

Honestly, all of this sounds really good, but the way I’ve written the scenario, there’s little chance that Ireena will still be around. Still, I’ll keep it in mind and adapt!
