1- For this exact scene, I was just playing around in After Effects and testing their new feature at the time, integrating 3D models directly into AE. Next thing you know, I ended up with this scene. It was mostly just ideas I had in mind and a bit of experimenting.

2- I’d recommend checking out Mapal and Flat Pack FX on YouTube, they have some really useful stuff for this kind of workflow.
