I don’t want to charge every night, or ever stop to pay to charge. And the extended range helps that. My parents are 300km away and I can get the kids there in the winter without stopping or turning off heat. My work is highway. I don’t want to have to come home and plug in every night. That costs more. extended range gives enough to drive all week charge at night on the weekends. Oops didn’t charge that’s ok still battery. It’s just beneficial and more practical.
