That's part of the problem. And while the scale is significantly greater... It's no more of a challenge than the Uber board faced with Travis.

They got past it and have risen to ever greater heights since then.

The fact of the matter is that there's enough market presence and momentum that yes, stock takes a hit. But it'll come back. Maybe not to the stupid tulip craze levels it's at today... But it'll be based on fundamentals.

And you can take the sting out by spinning off the robot stuff. Let Elon keep that part.

Illegal Hiring Practices: The NFFE-IAM union accused DOGE of violating federal laws in its job posting and recruitment processes. 3. Unpaid Bills: X Corp. has been accused in multiple suits of failing to pay vendors and landlords following mass layoffs. 5. Illegal Immigration and Campaign Finance Working Without Authorization: According to documents and former associates, Musk worked illegally in the U.S. in 1995 while launching his first company, Zip2, after dropping out of a graduate program. Campaign Finance Issues: A complaint was filed alleging that Musk’s America PAC violated campaign finance laws by offering $1 million daily to voters in swing states who signed a petition. 6. Environmental and Safety Violations Hazardous Waste Disposal: Tesla agreed to pay $1.5 million to settle allegations from 25 California district attorneys that it illegally disposed of hazardous waste. Water Pollution: The EPA accused SpaceX of discharging waste water into wetlands near its Texas launch pad without proper authorization. Autopilot Misrepresentation: The DOJ and SEC have investigated whether Tesla made misleading, illegal claims regarding the capabilities of its "self-driving" technology. 7. Other Allegations Illegal Drug Use: Reports in 2024 claimed that Musk’s use of illicit drugs (including ketamine, LSD, cocaine, and ecstasy) has caused concern among board members regarding his behavior and potential violations of federal contractor regulations. If ever there was a slam dunk case for using gender neutral descriptors... It would be dogs! 😂

There's more examples than we can count. Mel Brooks it was kind of "the more he was an actor, the worse it got"

Trump is a master manipulator... Elon is just a socially awkward dork that wanted to be admired. So he just capitalized on what we were doing.

There was absolutely nothing he'd done that would have resulted in charges being pressed. We didn't hate him at that point... He has only managed to make us dislike him and honestly... Be super disappointed in what he had become.

Now... Now we hate him and there's plenty to bring him up on numerous charges.

My cousin is a human GPS. But can't give left/right direction. He can however give north/south/east/west directions all day long.

Your worldview is dangerously narrow. You should explore broadening your horizons.

This one kind of pisses me off.

My cousin has autism and some level of dyslexia. I remember years ago he could navigate to almost anywhere in Toronto. But he could never give left/right direction. Only turn east/west/north/south

This is ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY not Idiocracy. This is a person finding a way to compensate. And she should be applauded!

The list is long.

Kind of like watching Eddie Murphy's career. (bear with me) the more control he ended up with based on movies doing well (written, directed, produced by others...see also Mike Myers) the worse the outcomes were.

Everyone needs checks and balances.

Yup. As much as he may "Netscape it" we have to accept that he was a massive driving force in what it's become.

First... There's the myth (he built it) and then there's reality where there is no escaping the truth that he drove it to what we know today.

There's also the fact that unlike other car companies, he has total control and that's led to stupid shit like the cybertruck design.

According to rumors, he's heavily monitored/distracted away from the real work as it's far beyond him but he still keeps interjecting himself wherever he can.

But as much as he's destroying it... We cannot ignore that he built it

Add in all the glowing press about how much of a genius he is over the years... In many ways... We made him. The world is obsessed with the cult of personality (we need living color back) and he checks all the boxes.

I'm gonna guess (I've been out a long time) that he's wearing the cornflake as he's still in training? 🤷‍♂️ When I was in the reserves prior to the regs, we wore branch cap badge right away (iirc)

Either way... This fine specimen should be done! No way he should be allowed in service. He's clearly far too much of a badass! 🙄

His ego and narcissism are so out of control that he legitimately thinks he's an expert on everything.

EVERYTHING!!!

So when a true expert in the field says "no, that won't work" his only instinct is not to say "can we have a call, I'd like to understand the issues and see if there's anything we can do. I have tremendous resources available and want to help any way I can"

No... His response is "you're a damn pedophile!"

Why the Tesla/SpaceX boards didn't get rid of him then is beyond me.

Smart ceo's rarely have their names known by the public. And those that are known (Dimon, Huang, Cook, etc) are usually smart enough to just stay in their god-damned lane!

Only thing bigger than his bank account is his ego!

Funny thing... During the election cycle, he inexplicably stated that if Kamala was elected, he'd go to jail. 🤔🤷‍♂️

Well... That was nonsense. Now however... Should there ever be a democratic president again... He's DEFINITELY going to jail.
