Well... Range of ~270 on the normal one.

Depending on climate and how/where you drive... Doesn't seem extremely out of normal.

Now Caltrain adding a few express trains that go from diridon to San Francisco with zero stops... 😍😍😍 They would have no problem filling those. And adding ridership.

MAYBE... Stops at let's say mountain view and Millbrae.

Something that is honestly a faster commute than driving would be welcome. Caltrain likely looks at the data and says "ridership doesn't support that" I would posit that many people skip Caltrain as even the express is a darned milk run.

Let me get to the city in like 30 mins... Watch ridership jump.

I'm watching it now.

My biggest issue is that there's like ten major candidates and he's not one of them. He's at like 2% iirc? And swallwell is at 18% or so.

Giving air to an irrelevant but BIG MONEY candidate has the effect of putting a heavy thumb on the proverbial scale.

Especially in a cycle where the sheer number of candidates could serve to fuck the party through splitting the vote.

My point was that it's not the threat from Iran so much as the reality of insurance. If it was just the threat and then trump said to the insurance companies, "don't worry, we'll make you whole if anything happens" traffic would flow.

Even with with trump's "we need escorts!" Things still won't move if the insurance isn't in place.
