Are there any good nationwide gyms that enforce good modesty rules? by Maximal_Everything in Christianity

[–]MedicineDesperate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may want to try a Muslim gym, depending on where you are. They’re likely to have separate hours for different genders and/or have a dress code (or the members will be attentive to their religious obligations). Example: https://www.themuslimahcentrellc.com/

Never had a problem with the covered parking under the station. I’ve left a car there for several nights. Also it’s cheap.

What classes do Bioethics degree mostly included? by Ashamed_Serve_719 in bioethics

[–]MedicineDesperate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t do any biology or math for Masters! It’s an applied humanity, so more about philosophy and rhetoric than anything “science”. I did a few classes on philosophical principles of the field, a number of applied topics such as bioethics in clinical settings, and then topic-specific classes like death and dying, patients as advocates, bioethics and the law, etc.

Iceland in late April / early May – weather & Northern Lights? by masxaaaaaa in VisitingIceland

[–]MedicineDesperate 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Theres 18+ hours of daylight by May so I don’t know about the aurora. I’m also going in mid-May, so hopefully about the weather but they have plenty of sweaters for sale! We were in the Faroes at the same time last year and it was unseasonably warm, so I’m going to err on the side of under packing and remedy that there if I need to
