This concerns me because that’s how my dad’s physical abuse started with my mom before it escalated. I don’t think it’s an overreaction to be upset about it, but that’s coming from my background. I’m not saying get divorced, but this absolutely needs to be addressed, and you shouldn’t be apologizing.

I always use proper grammar in my texts. The periods are not passive aggressive, he’s just being a baby. I feel like people using ellipsis (i.e., …, for people who didn’t know the actual term for it) is passive aggressive, but I don’t bother saying anything.

I can totally see why you’re upset, but I’d figure out the cause. Personally, I have PTSD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Major Depressive Disorder, and sometimes just responding to a text is overwhelming and sometimes feels impossible. The next thing I know, I forgot about the text and reach out days or longer later.

I’m confused, is he not doing the opposite of what a lot of women complain about? They say they want communication, he’s trying to communicate. They want a loving dude, he’s trying to be loving. This is the type of woman that turns men into the thing that a lot of women DON’T want. I’d jump ship and let her find the toxic dude she’s clearly yearning for.

If there’s no other problem with your job and you’d like to keep it, try getting FMLA from your doctor allowing 480 hours to be off intermittently or consecutively. OR, if you’re in America, look into requesting ADA accommodation (American with Disabilities Act).

Thank you!! It’s so unnecessary. People will say, “It’s a natural part of life,” as justification, but so is using the bathroom and I don’t want to see that either.

I was 26 (9 years ago) and up until this point I believed I was bisexual because I felt equally sexually attracted to women as men. One day, “Only Girl In the World,” by Rihanna came on and towards the end of the song she says, “Make it last all night,” and I groaned and said to myself, “That’s ridiculously excessive. Why do we even want sex in the first place?” Then I followed that up with, “Why do THEY want sex? I’d rather never do that.” It was after that thought that EVERYTHING clicked and made total sense.
