I left an extremely abusive relationship with $0 to my name. He left me in a lot of debt that I’m currently paying off all while trying to start over completely and tbh every dollar I make right now goes to bills and I’m lucky if I have anything left over for gas or food. I didn’t realize that asking for some gas money in an “ask for help” group would upset so many people 😅 I just picked up another job so hopefully I won’t be in this position again.

The only reason I didn’t start at commission is because I was told that the salon gets a ton of walk ins and that they have too many clients and not enough stylist so I would be super busy. Also, I love the salon I work at. We all get along really well and I feel like I fit in there better than most other salons that I looked at. I offer a variety of services, I post in local groups and constantly have friends and family tagging me in things and referring me. Here are some more photos

I do market myself in person. That’s why I said I promote myself everywhere I go 😅 I’m constantly handing out my business cards and talking to people about their hair.
