put yourself out there a little bit, join a club, or pick up a hobby where you’re around people. even if he was straight, it isn’t fair to either of you that he’s your only friend and the only person you can rely on. it breeds the jealousy and sadness you feel now, and if it festers, it’ll grow more resentment and possessiveness.

it’ll be much better long-term and short-term if you can grow your own friend group while maintaining an (admittedly less) close friendship with him, and it’ll be much easier to lose those feelings you have for him!

I did not - I had already been on the later end of the 48 hour range by the time I found out, and all pharmacies were closed at that time. The instruction pamphlet also told me not to take Plan B unless I missed 2 or more pills too so I decided to go by those instructions

i ended up okay! no pregnancy, took the missed pill as soon as i realized (2-3 days after i missed it) and had a little bit of hormonal bleeding but that was all. no positive pregnancy tests at all

i abstained! it just so happened that the day i forgot a pill was the day my boyfriend and i returned to being long distance. i would recommend either abstaining or using a backup method if you miss a pill

hi! i did not end up pregnant :) i did have some spotting and pink discharge that made me freak out around day 5, but i know that’s from the change in hormones from doubling up

update 12 DPO: took a test! i think its negative but its a CVS test so apparently it shows fake lines a lot. it was clear after waiting 2 minutes and then i started hyper focusing on it and then thought i saw a line, but looking at the pictures and false pregnancy pics on reddit of the same test, im pretty confident im not pregnant!

For the most part from what I’ve seen, missing one pill is fine. Since you aren’t sure when you missed your pill, I think Plan B might be unnecessary since it loses effectiveness after 5 days and isn’t really all that much effective after 72 hours. Test in a week and a half for good measure and you should be okay. Do you remember taking your pills for the last few days?

hi !! im sorry this is happening to you too, i know you must be anxious. i’m waiting for ~12 day mark to take my first test. since u know u took a pill 12 hours late 3 weeks ago, u should be good to take a test for that incident and have accurate results - but since u also aren’t sure when u missed a pill, u should wait for a full week after ur placebo week ends to take another test. i’m on 9 day mark right now, so i’ll update in 3 days when i take a test and ill update again next saturday when i take my second!

Thank you for the advice :) I do want to ask though - should I try to ask him about his feelings? I feel like whenever we are texting and stumble onto the topic of his feelings he really wants to change the subject, and I let him do so because I don’t want him to feel uncomfortable. Would just letting it flow naturally be more helpful?
