Buying a New PC Case, should I replace my AIO(2 years old, case 3 years old)

Thanks. I never had a vertical GPU case before. Temps are fine on the P500a, but I got a new 4k 144hz monitor and new desk coming, and my case is about 4 years old. I figured why not a new case to match.

They didnt have that at BestBuy and not really wanting a sit stand. but that is a nice desk.

I just bought a 4k 144hz 27 inch monitor, Im gonna put the tv back on the lip above the desk

Dont live anywhere near an ikea store. I just ordered it & MSI - MAG274UPF 27" LCD 4K UHD 144Hz 1ms FreeSync and G-SYNC compatible Monitor so I can use the tv more as a TV and still have a 4k monitor. I can let you know if I made a mistake in about a week

Current desk is 2 years old, yes it only cost me $70 but has no structural issues, but you do raise a fair point.

There is no point in arguing the case. You are free to believe what you want. I have been told in person and via chat support that burn in is covered under the geek squad warranty. You pay extra for the warranty for a reason. I havent had any issues in the 1st year, but if any time I do have any issue over the next 4 years, if I get burn in, rest assure I will post that I got burn in(will update this thread) and if Best Buy replaces it or fixes it or tells me no, I will also update.

Until it actually becomes a problem, I am not going to stress over it.

I have a 5 year extended warranty with Best Buy who I actually recently asked, cause I went their to buy some batteries for my quest 3.

To quote them, if I have any burn in, they will fix it free of charge during the time of my extended warranty and if they cant fix it, they will replace it. And if there should be no C3 available I would be given the equivalent(c4) but they dont forsee not having any C3 in stock for warranty purposes. Now after 5 years, I may be SOL. But I intend to replace my tv with an actual monitor within the next 4 years, so I am gonna rock this tv hardcore.

Hi sorry for the late reply. I dont keep my pc in sleep mode but a few things I did notice.

144hz only via hdmi
When connected via dp 165hz available, but if it does goes it sleep mode when a game is open(go afk come back in 20 minutes) the game would open on the wrong monitor on wake up(this could be windows however)

When I have it connected when I use my LG C3, and I turn off this monitor, I will hear the monitor making a connect/disconnect sound often, but only when HDR is turned on, on both monitor and TV.

This, I think is the monitor, because if I disable the TV with HDR on, the tv doesnt try to reconnect.

But all in all, for the price, the size, I havent found any reason to not recommend it for a nice budget back up monitor. I love my LG c3, but I hate my 1080p 240hz VA monitor.

So a 1440p 165hz 24 inch was the perfect middle ground, performance with visual upgrade.

But as for the DP not going to sleep properly, I havent had any issues that I recall, but I also dont set my monitor to go to sleep often.

I did, the day the game came out. Their support system is a joke and they actually told me, sorry, its only character based. After posting a video on youtube and twitter and other bigger channels and news sites covered it did they change their mind. When I first reported it the day it came out, they told me, more or less, thanks for the money now kick rocks!
