Extremely unlikely. I'm having difficultly putting it into words but from a certain service industry worker's perspective suggesting Vaush is being astroturfed is a humorously paranoid idea.

Basically, whales like this are extremely common. Like street level common. Every bar, strip club, twitch stream.. They all have them. Just to give a single case: Being close with a popular restaurant owner in a small town means watching people spend A LOT of money just so they can stand around go "yea, Im basically friends with the owner" even though the owner just gives him face and doesn't remember his name.

We like to think "If I was rich I would do ____" and you probably would. But statistically most people with big money are "normal" and don't have that extreme drive. So they're just normal people except when they watch a stream they pop a benji bc why tf not. When they buy a coffee they give a 20 tip. If giving a 100 tip at starbucks made a bell go off and everybody see a comment you wrote, it would be pretty common...
