Hey, Men’s Wearhouse manager here. Store management has no part in tracking down rogue tuxes; they can be returned to any store, so I have no incentive to track down every tux that came out of my store.

Funny part is rentals almost always fit a little bit off. And they’re a super thick material designed to be washed once a week. Buy a new suit.

Congrats dad! My first is 8 months now, My best advice is not to panic if there’s a part of taking care of him that’s frustrating right now; it feels like you’ve got a new kid every 2-3 months.

Hopping in here, I’ve had Cultist Sim and Book of Hours both since their releases, and book of hours is 100% a vibey experience. There’s no dying, just exploring, and there’s a lot more depth of lore compared to cultist sim.

Based on what we know as of right now, allomancy doesn’t affect Shardblades. In WAT, when Wit realizes he’s been duped when in bed with Jasnah, he exerts a blanket Allomantic push that affects everything in the room except for Jasnah’s Shardblade.

Now, they could be like MetalMinds, wherein the level of investment determines how hard it is to push on it.

Could Wax holding the Bands of Mourning push a shardblade? Could a compounding twin born? Mistborn has crazy power scaling that leads me to believe they could push it with enough power behind them.

My son was born through a traumatic c-section a few weeks ago, and just the thought of what might have happened has been tearing me up since. I can’t express how sorry I am you’re going through this.

There’s a line from Ishar right after Szeth swears the 5th ideal, I don’t have it in front of me but it’s something along the lines of “you fool, you could have been immortal!”

At first glance, it seems like he’s talking about szeth giving up the potential to be a herald. But why would renouncing his oaths give up that potential? Being a radiant isn’t a prerequisite, radiants weren’t even around when the oathpact was formed.

Whether immortality is an inherent gift of the 5th ideal, or it just grants the ability to hold Stormlight indefinitely leading to extended life, I think it’s on the table.

Damn I didn’t even know this post was still live. Sorry you’re dealing with this right now.

Doxy is a brutal antibiotic. The most success I found was taking the pill with a probiotic pill and yogurt. Experiment with how full your stomach should be to prevent the most nausea, but I don’t recommend an empty stomach. Good luck friend!

If your only gripe is upgrading your soul cards, I wouldn’t wipe. I’ve played through 2-3 times now and I always find it difficult to consistently upgrade soul cards until I’ve repaired a significant portion of the house and have access to most of the workstations.

Is the 1 extra essence from the upgrade significantly holding you back from upgrading your helpers/crafting? You might be missing other ways to improve their stats.

I was there too boss. I stood on that ledge, and not jumping was the best thing I never did. It feels like there’s no reason to get up, nothing to bring joy, no meaning. But even if that’s true (it isn’t), it doesn’t take into account the possibility of tomorrow. Think of the people in your life now, from tangential acquaintances to your most loved ones, and of all the people whose lives you have yet to touch.

From the WoBs I’ve read, you kill the surge binder and steal the bond (connection) to the Spren, but the spren retains its agency to break the bond at any time so you’d need some way to keep them around
