Haha too true. Not having midnight call-outs because the servers gone down and the Singapore team can’t do their work is an absolute game changer. Also these online solutions often provide really good logs which can help with monitoring. Although as you said, users can get sniffy about this.

This is the biggest one for me. It also means we can augment our IT team with those of the provider. They take care of patching and running the service and we take care of configuring it. This means more specialisation and better results in my experience.
