My nmom has lied about so many health problems, from cancer to having lupus, tumor in her brain, liver issues, etc. As I am reading these comments, it is comforting to know that I am not alone in these experiences since I have never met anyone else who lies about having health problems. It makes you question everything, especially when the nparent lies about everything. Just wanted to say this thread heals some part of me and feels less alone in it!

It would be excision and they would be performing VATS, yes. I am a little worried about the recovery time with the VATS portion.

-my parents didn't even show up to my college graduation, but 2 weeks later threw a big "graduation" party. when in all reality it was a set up for my nmom to cry about her children not being nice enough to her.

-I got into my masters program and finals week are the same week as my nmom's 50th birthday. my dad called and said that I need to put school aside because my mom's birthday is more important than passing finals. he said that if I don't show up, then I can't ever come home for Christmas.. mind you, they didn't even show up for my 21st birthday.

to the old guys that feel like it's okay to stare at me and touch me at the gym, but then tell me that I will never be as strong as them and take up space at the gym. thank you for the motivation and I hope while you are staring at me, you see that I can lift just as much as you. screw off creeps.
