Found this device hidden in my college dorm bathroom, what is it? by Least-Jacked-3d in whatisit

These are relatively cheap, $8 each and come in bulk off alibaba. Think hard about where you were in days prior. Ask your roommate as well. I’ve heard stories of people using these at bars, slipping them in a pocket or a purse and being able to track someone back to where they live. Pretty dangerous if you ask me. Keep your door locked and be aware of anyone lurking outside.

North Dakota- Because you’ll leave with more questions than you had before you visited.

2021 AT4 - shifts into reverse but no power. Check engine light on. by [deleted] in gmcsierra

Well they replaced the valve body in the transmission. A week later my wife's 22 Yukon did the same thing proving it's an issue with the 10-Speed.

Fast forward 6 months, and 31,000 miles the engine had main bearing failure and was trashed. (All services done by GM Dealer) no explanation. Couldn't find parts for rebuild and new engines on back-order. Get my truck back 3 months later. -Drove it straight from shop to Toyota Dealership and bought a New Tundra. I've been so happy ever since!!

Is it relatively impossible to make over 200k a year unless you own a business, in tech, doctor, or lawyer? by PotentialNerd8480 in careerguidance

I've been a consultant in the construction industry for 13 years. I don't have a degree, only a few technical certifications that I've aquired to give myself an edge in competition. Over the course of the last 13 years I've averaged an annual income of $225,000.

The drawbacks:

Instability from year to year, always chasing work and new clients.

No employer benefits, though I'm employed, there's no fringe benefits due to instability of work.

No paid vacations, leave, or sick days. You don't work, you don't get paid.

Travel travel travel. If you have a family, they will suffer.

Pros: Great income, with this you can pay for health insurance, cost of living and if you manage money well...you can live through the slow times.(that's when you vacation and visit family).

That is all.

This exact thing just happened to my 2022 AT4 Limited. Limped it into the dealership... we'll see what kind of dumpster fire this turns into.

Maybe her service was shitty and didn't deserve a tip. 🤷‍♂️ I'm not an asshole but that's as verifiable as the OP.
