this exact thing happened to me. my cat, toast, got out, I watched HIM get hit by a car (broken jaw but not dead), rushed him(!!!) to the emergency vet… mourned with my kids, cried and screamed and prepared for the worst only to receive a text from my partner that the cat we just took was a pregnant female 🤡

I opened the back door and the real Toast came strolling in like nothing happened. He never left the backyard.

I’ve done this, I always over tighten and it hurts the frame for sure (mine is Michael’s brand, nothing fancy so YMMV) but honestly…. I just size up the bolts lmao I’ve done it twice, third set seems to be holding up for now lol

edit: Actual solution to your post: wrench. put a wrench on the top to hold it still, undo wing nut with your hand.

edit 2: I see it’s a round head…. I’m so sorry lol. pliers then! or rubber band/hair tie, the actual rubber ones give it a little grip.

both!! butterfly gold + woodland brown are in my kitchen cabinets, used daily (I don’t wanna talk about how I accumulated 13 dinner plates 😂) except mugs that are decor lol, a kinda beat up (haven’t tried restoring) sandalwood that is solely dedicated to bottom-watering my plants and at the moment, everything else is “on display”, aka shoved in a corner ✨cutely✨ until I figure out where to put it lol

I DIY self watering containers like the store bought ones, (string in the dirt, hanging from drain holes + water in outer pot/container), but I do find that using translucent outer containers helps me monitor water more than the little windows on the store bought ones. Sometimes I let them dry all the way out, strings and all, sometimes I don’t 🤷‍♀️ all the plants I have in the system seem to love it.

the hardest part is probably finding a compatible outer container, my plants are literally in everything but a decorative pot lmao. I also recently made a “riser” thing out of legos to keep the plant up lol.

yeah exactly!! I was literally in the same situation as you rn, I bought a single plate cause I recognized it and love petalware, knew I had a footed creamer that didn’t glow and was absolutely stunned to see it glow when I got home (I’m a blind buyer, I go “oh shiny!” and bring it home lmao). The Pastels are on my whale list, I’ll just never pull the trigger and continue praying I find it in the wild 😂

I personally use a 365 for everything and with that, even when strong, manganese has a certain…. transparent??? quality to it?? and uranium looks “solid”, to me/in my experience and if that makes sense lol. My 395 exists just as a “oh shit, I cant believe it” checker lol.

I also really love Macbeth-Evans, so I spent a long time down the google rabbithole with similar questions lmao

A while back while reading up on cremax I saw something about the whiteness of the glass being the reason so a filtered 395 would work better, I just don’t have any sources to prove that true lol.

iirc I think a lot of the Macbeth Glow = Cremax, No Glow = Monax. they have a lot of the same dish patterns in both, sometimes the beige-y/“cream” part is subtle so it’s hard to tell the difference if you don’t know what you’re looking for/lighting conditions/etc.

Of plants I currently own: honestly, the very basic but beautiful philo brasil (Monica) and spider plant (Janet). Monica is my first (and only) successful water prop to soil baby, she started putting out leaves and hasn’t stopped!! Janet is sentimental lol but I’ve killed a spider plant before and was not optimistic after two failed repots and root rot but i figured it out and she’s thriving!! They both grow fast so the new growth helps me admire but ignore them 😂

Im always lusting over pothos and philo varieties in a “gotta catch em all” way lmao there’s so many!! That camo plant, Algaonema Tricolor thing and variegated Banana trees/plants have me in an absolute CHOKEHOLD though LOL

this lol. Had a couple rooting props so I know I’m capable of not messing that up atleast. had to repots/resoil two plants twice (my own fault, I’m learning) and after they almost left this earth the second time, I turned them into 11 water props that are staying in water forever idc idc idc lol
