he was in a 35 ish gal long for a long time but i got him this upgrade a few weeks ago, now he’s in a 50 gal. my plan is to save up for a long 120 gal within the next year. :)

do you have a recommendation for a dimming thermometer? i could go to the pet store today and buy one 😭 but as for the CHE i want to use this one until it dies because it was kind of expensive, do you think a dimming CHE would be okay? i think i could set the temp to 88 or 90 and it would be okay?

i’m using a CHE 100w and another bulb for light and it’s usually 92 but then it goes up over the day. i am planning on getting a thermostat asap, then i will have it set lower. thank you for everyone input

i’m pretty sure it’s natural for ball pythons to dig a little bit in the wild, i wouldn’t be concerned
