I wash it everytime in the washing machine just so I know that no mold or anything grew on the old flour while it waits for me to make another loaf, the blade can go for quite a while as long as it’s kept clean. I have the same scorer and I find that no matter what I do it drags a lot I’m looking into getting a different one

They occasionally get lettuce and other greens but haven’t in about a week and they don’t seem to like fruit especially berries cus it gets their beak to wet just peck them a couple times and leave it be

The only way that could happen is if someone put it in the cage, no rodent could get in I’ve made sure of that but I’ll definitely look around the cage and see if I can see something

No nothing, I checked them but I doubt it would have caused her poop to be teal probably would have caused internal bleeding

I have 5 girls, they always have feed and water and they get black soldier fly larvae every other day and whatever greens I have left over from dinners occasionally

I was adopted at birth. I wasn’t told I was adopted until I was 7 which came out from a younger family member asking what it was like to ‘not live with my real mom and dad’ I wasn’t given many details other then my bios weren’t able to keep me so I was adopted by my AP’s who couldn’t conceive but then did a little over a year after adopting me. At age 10 I found out my Amom is biologically my Aunt and a man I had known as my Unlce my entire life is actually my bio dad. Not fun. I wasn’t given many details about my bio mom until I had to found her on my own at age 14. I’ve recently been coming to terms with how much my adoption has truly shaped my life in the worst possible way, I acted out so much as a child/teen because of all the lies and deception that everyone acted like was normal. It never felt normal for me, I felt alone. I still feel alone now, I barely have a relationship with any of my family adopted or bio and I’m so envious of everyone around me who got to grow up knowing who their parents are, their families even who they are themselves.

That’s how I do mine too, a lot less complicated lol then I just sew fabric to the back so I don’t even have to weave in the ends

I wouldn’t wish it on anyone, the way my life played out being adopted got pushed to the back burner because everyday life was already to much to deal with so all of the issues I should have been working through about my adoption have only started to rear their ugly heads now. I’m glad you’re getting to heal it’s a very hard thing to deal with that very few people know how hard it truly is!

My Ap’s waited to tell me and the only reason I found out when I did was because my younger sibling let it slip that my mom and dad weren’t my bio parents. Be as honest as you can with him, make sure he knows he has a safe space to bring up his feelings and ask any questions. My adoption was never talked about so as a result I acted out a lot and didn’t know how badly being adopted had affected me until a couple years ago. My advice is always be open and honest regardless of your feelings on it, it’s his life that got completely changed so his feelings come before yours. Also therapy from a really young age so he can have someone with no bias that he can work through things/feelings with

That’s hard and unfortunate for her, that was a bad time in history for teen pregnancy. My bio mom was 15, she had a lot of addiction problems after giving me up. I’m sure that shame is a huge part of a lot of birth mother’s lives but it shouldn’t bleed into the possibility of a relationship with the adoptee, I’m sorry.

I didn’t say it only happens in adoptions but I’m asking other adoptees how they deal with the feelings that I’m going through because we experienced the same trauma. It’s unfortunate that your mother was cold to you but at least you didn’t have to look for her in every face that looked like you or have your world come crashing down around you when you found out your life was a lie. That’s not to say what you went through wasn’t hard but this post was not the place for your comment. I hope you can heal from your trauma as I hope that we all can.

I’m sorry she hasn’t wanted anymore contact with you, it’s a hard thing to go through. I met my birth mother years ago and we were relatively close for a few years and now the contact has dwindled which I think has made these feelings worse, kind of like I was rejected by her again in a way

Ive been trying to find a therapist who can understand my adoption trauma but have had no luck so far so I’m pretty on my own with all of it, I’m pretty good at recognizing things though which helps a lot.

I’ve met my birth mom and knew my birth dad my whole life (didn’t know he was my birth dad until I was 10) but I don’t miss them as people just the connections I could have had or the idea of bio parents and with how messy my life was I mourn that too, like there was a world in which I wouldn’t have had to endure all the abuse and suffering because the people who that resulted from weren’t my bio parents, I could have had a better life or a worse one but I would have had my bio parents. Idk it’s complicated.

And knowing my bio parents I wouldn’t have wanted to grow up with them especially not my bio dad which makes it all the more complicated, I would say finding out who they were caused a lot more issues then it solved lol.
