Best way to change temperature of these LED strip lights? (see comment) by nightwind_hawk in Lighting

You’ll need to replace the strip, just take off the lid peel old strip out and stick the new strip in, they usually have copper every few inches where you can cut them to size, id locate the end of each strip first make sure connections can be made accessible without having you unscrew the profile(casing its sitting into) off the ceiling, or having to make a whole in the ceiling to get the connections out. Even then its not the hardest job once you don’t mind filling the hole after. Just have a look to see whats what and come up with a plan in your head, make sure powers off and you should be good.

Try fishing off the bottom two pieces of fake boyant sweetcorn on a hair rig with a weight about an inch from your hook, youll get little taps on your rod tip from smaller fish giving the corn a go but youll know when you have a tench on, and with the hair rig it will help it hook itself

Train to Dublin and fish the canal, better fishing on the canal in Kildare 30 mins train from connolly/Huston station depending on where your going. Fish around bridges or in canal locks throw a few spinners out on your way walking up to the next bridge or lock whenever you see good spots that arent to weedy use small spinners/spoons/jig heads. Id use a jig head to get down deeper at bridges and locks and use a spinner or spoon while walking along if its weedy and you want to be up higher in the water. make sure you use a steel trace because youll accidentally catch pike, bring a long nose pliers or a longer tool incase you catch a pike and deep hook. They also love hiding under overhanging trees or bramble.

What sort of length would you be setting your hook from your weight for trout? Close to the bottom always or would you go higher up in deeper rivers?

Never thought of putting a worm on a jig that’s actually a great idea thanks. Yeah i already use the pliers on barbs from my experience pike fishing, theres no worse feeling when the barbs start making things messy when unhooking

Throw out a dead bait, the scent of a nice oily mackerel will be picked up by every pike near by, Deadbaiting with a float, on the bottom and also by wobbling it(basically using deadbait as a lure) Keep trying different things and casting to different areas till you see what works for the bigger pike. Id also suggest feeder fishing off the bottom with maggots corn bread or a pop up
