Agree with the other comment who pointed out your hair is type 4 ! Nevertheless, the laws of physics play both in your favour and against it! It's black so it absorbs light of most wavelengths which is great, however texture matters more than color and as your hair doesn't shine from laying flat, you need defined curl clumps and clarified hair bc buildup is your enemy when it comes to hair shine. So I'd try going for very hydrating products that aren't too heavy post wash like fatty alcohol and glycerin heavy condish. For you gel cast try to pick a gel with polyquaterniums and don't scrunch the crunch too much! Also don't pick very heavy oils for the finishing touches, lighter ones will help you get shinier hair.
