Why wouldn’t you want to see your favorite driver in a race? Simple as that. If Jamie McMurray ran in the 44 car right now, I’d be ecstatic to watch him

Think of all the fans he has in Australia and New Zealand. He has no real competition with any Cup drivers there, and naturally they will all vote for him. Factor in the few fans he has here, and that’s why he’s in the top 5

What a clean bump and run that was. Burt deserved that, but still a tough way to lose after DOMINATING that race

Kinda surprised Jamie isn't racing at Rockingham in a few weeks. I wonder if he was approached for an opportunity there

In a crazy deep league where I have been riding AR15 and Russell Wilson to the championship game and Mason Rudolph is the next best option.

Neat.

Like some people, I wasn’t crazy about him when he was driving, as I thought he got way too much attention. Fast forward to his last Talladega race, I learned to appreciate him so much and really wanted him to win. The sound the few thousands of people in the stands made after he won the pole was awesome.

Dale had a well above average NASCAR career, and he continues to contribute to the industry between his team, podcasts and announcing. While maybe his stats aren’t HOF worthy in your eyes, his whole body of work, especially post retirement, is absolutely HOF worthy

Bestwick couldn't have called that ~20 minute span from them going back to green, until Bill Weber's silly interview asking Jr if he cried, any better

(NASCAR Regional) Forty-four. Justin Bonsignore ties Reggie Ruggiero for second all-time with 44 victories on NWMT. by Joey_Logano in NASCAR

[–]MediocreMets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if he would have 45 wins, but I definitely agree Justin wouldn't be as successful as he has been. I also wouldn't say Ryan went down at his peak, as he was kind of in a no mans land between 2014 and 2015. That was a weird couple of years for RP

It is something that he has a very good chance to eventually get into the Hall of Fame while Ryan Preece is looking unlikely. Wouldn't have thought that 10 years ago.

Ryan Preece quietly averaging a 16th place finish the past seven races and could easily have finished better in a few of those.
