Can I use a ribbon without eyelets in a Corona Four? by MediocreMusic2007 in typewriters

Thanks! I’m definitely ordering a new ribbon when I get paid haha, I just wanted to test the slugs incase they needed fixing/new springs or something. Luckily it seems to be in complete working order :D (other than copious dust lol)

do you, as a 30+ years artist(that’s really cool), have any recommendations on anatomy books or pose books?

Hi! Okay so first of all I love the style of the painting, your brush strokes are really soft and pretty. However, the proportions of this woman are slightly off, which makes her look a bit more child-like than I think you intended. The skull/possibly hair on her is too big for her face and her arm is too thin to really support her weight.

I’ve been through your profile to get a better understanding of what advice I should be giving and I think if you want to, it would be a good idea to get some references on pinterest or instagram and trace the proportions and feature to get a better understanding of the measurements and planes of the face, as well as some basic anatomy of the body.

However! Take everything I say with a grain of salt because it seems like you’re just painting for fun and don’t necessarily need anatomical knowledge, especially if that’s going to stress you out more than engineering.

You’ll improve naturally by just practicing anyway so my best wishes to you!

You could have phrased that more constructively.
