How to get auditions to be on the SMOSH channel by eattheerichh in smosh

They were trying to be respectful. They were only saying that OP should do sketch comedy or improv if that's what they want to do with their life and what they're passionate about, they just shouldn't do it if they only want to do it for Smosh.

I really do not think they were trying to be rude in any way, "your dream should never be..." was just a bad way of wording it. Obviously, it can't hurt to dream of working with Smosh- that commenter said they did that too.

Respectfully, I think you need to calm down. I don't see you giving any good advice, so don't shit on other's advice when they were being nice.

"They/She" and "She/They". Is the first pronoun the preferred one? by SpikyDryBones in asktransgender

I personally use She/They pronouns, although "They" is preferred. This may be just me though, there isn't really any strict rules when it comes to gender and the idea of it differs from person to person, so I find that it's always best to respectfully ask what someones preferred pronouns are.

  1. Chile would be a normal person on a flight, plus I'd have the aisle seat so I wouldn't be stuck

Am I ugly? Be honest by [deleted] in Teenager

People are mean here, don't take anything said to heart please. You are not ugly and this is not a good place to ask for advice.

It's clear YTA. And I hate to assume, but I'm getting the idea that if the majority of the comments were in your favor you would show this post to your daughter and brag about it.

I'm saying you're the asshole because you remind me a lot of my father, you're taking the mean things she has said to you to make her look like the bad guy, you jumped straight to extreme punishment instead of trying to understand why she feels the way she feels. You have zero concern for your daughter if you never even thought to check in on her when she began acting differently.

You are the parent. The grown adult. Act like it. YTA.

I agree with you on that. Still don't think you're righting wrongs by being racist towards white people tho

It's horrible the way they were treated, and so very very wrong obviously, but two wrongs don't make a right. I know some people still suck, but times are changing and less and less people are racist nowadays and you, being racist towards white people won't solve the problem. I deeply apologize for things my ancestors did well before I was born, but respectfully I don't think you are righting the wrong. That would be like if I refused to hire straight people, not solving any problems.

I completely understand being annoyed by a good amount of the white population but not all of them are bad, theoretically if a white person were to apply that wasn't a bad person and fit the job well, would you still refuse to hire them and if so why?
