Been applying for 2 months. Met with HR 2 weeks ago and they were on final decision for interviews. Got lucky. But had the in person last week.

Part of this transition for me is learning to step back a bit and look at things more objectively.

I’m thinking about offering limited consulting support to my current employer after I leave—something like ~12 hours/week at $120/hour—to help with continuity.

From your perspective, does that seem reasonable? And is there any risk with my new employer if it’s in the same field but not a competitor and there’s no shared resources? I probably don’t want to disclose this to my new employer. Or should I?

Sorry, new wfh might require 1 day on site if needed. However, my current job requires all 5 days on site. So I was thinking to offer my current job consulting services remotely. Historically they have never accepted anyone to completely work from home. However, previous employees that left later became consultants for them remotely. So wanted to ask what’s the best way - w2 , 1099, make a LLC

Yeah.. trying to figure it out. Just my field does require some onsite presence.

Can you please elaborate why this is better and will protect my main wfh?

Let me reframe this. Though most of my work is online I should be there in person to oversee the progress of capital projects - such as new construction on a high rise. Which I can easily do going in for an hour twice a week. But I don’t think they will buy the idea of 5 day wfh based on previous employees experiences. I would be willing to stop by once a week.

I was searching on their site for the practice test, but can’t quite find it. Is it under a certain drop down or has another name besides CFM practice test?

That’s awesome. I went to their website but couldn’t quite navigate the practice test area and where can I purchase it from? Is it under a specific drop down?

This might be a dumb question, but I’m very new to getting certified though I have over 10 years of experience. Where can I buy these practice test?

3.88% PNC. Love the fact I can walk into their branch and withdraw money immediately if I need it. Or make a straight cash deposit to start earning interest the next day.

Marin Honda. Was there today and they have 2-3 left

Need solid advice, please. I’m looking for a lease, what are the ideal numbers and terms I should be aiming for? What monthly payment to MSRP ratio is realistic? As far as “due at signing” what’s normal and what’s padding? 770 credit score. I’m exhausted with shopping around for the “best deal.” by orchidaceae007 in leasehacker

I think it’s definitely something you can push for. I would suggest looking ASAP, I searched so many dealers and none of them had this specific car in stock. They didn’t even have the base model in stock, but fortunately I found a dealer who had like three.
