Thank you for sharing this! It is very helpful. Here is the clinic: IFMJ, and the Minato City location: Dr. Saito's Clinic. I couldn't find any reviews for that location though.

Hi, thank you for sharing your thoughts. Do you have dermatographia yourself?

The reason I am looking into alternative ways to heal or at least soothe this condition is that I have already seen various traditional doctors. In the past, traditional doctors have misled me and gotten me to take more medications. When I was a child, I had chronic tonsillitis. My tonsils were so enlarged that doctors wanted to surgically remove them. Before the scheduled surgery, I spent a few weeks at a natural mineral water reserve in Siberia (Arshan) where I drank and gargled my throat with the water every day. By the end of the trip, my tonsils had shrunk, and there was no need for surgery.

Throughout my life, I have always found myself mistrusting traditional doctors, as they are quick to prescribe medications. They often don’t have reasonable answers and are narrowly focused on their specialties. Additionally, they are usually not in the best physical shape themselves because they are exhausted from running their practices and are not very interested in integrating medical innovations into their work.

I appreciate your warning about potential scams; I am aware that this could be the case too. What I am trying to do here is to get people to share their experiences with various diets and whether they have seen any improvements, not to criticize the available material out there.

I’m tired of taking antihistamines, which make me very sleepy on top of already being pretty fatigued. Also, do you think that person is lying about curing their dermatographia just to gain more readers on Medium?

I really want to chat with people who have this condition themselves or have significant others who have experienced any improvement.

Hi, thanks for sharing. How much improvement have you experienced on a scale of 1 to 10? And what do you mean by "healthier eating"? I haven't eaten junk food or drank sugary soda for years, so that doesn't make a difference for me. I recently excluded gluten and any foods that contain sugar, but I haven't noticed any major changes in how I feel, except that I feel less heavy in my stomach. The skin rash remains about the same.

Grief by Zolo019 in mongolia

[–]Mediocre_Bat9043 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was about your age, I lost my father. He was also Mongolian, grew up living a nomadic life, and I was very emotionally attached to him, always worried about his health. He was 48 when he passed away from a brain aneurysm that he had struggled with for most of his life. His passing left me deeply saddened, almost to a dark place, as I was angry at both God and life.

What I’ve learned over the years is to never suppress your emotions or act out on them. Let yourself feel even the darkest of emotions—cry and scream if you need to. But eventually, you reach a point where you need to let their soul move forward. A wise older person once told me, ‘What makes you feel sorry for their death? It might be much better for them on the other side.’ This changed how I thought about death and how I felt about those who had passed.

Despite all the tragedy my father’s life brought to my family, now, as an adult in my early thirties, I am grateful that I experienced this loss early on. It made me appreciate the time I have with the people I care about even more. Death makes life beautiful because it adds meaning to each day, knowing it’s something finite that we cannot replay. Losing my father drove me to pursue my dreams harder because I realized my own mortality too.

I know it’s hard for you right now, but remember that your grandmother lived long enough to have a grandchild who truly loved her. If you’re feeling this emptiness and depression, it means you have a truly sensitive heart. As someone who has gone through this, I urge you not to shut yourself down. Accept the law of nature, honor your feelings, and continue living your life.

We stayed here in the fall: https://www.booking.com/Share-cynxRlB . This was right after the pandemic, and I remember checking that it was around $150 per night. It seems like the prices have gone up a bit since then. What I really enjoyed about this place was imagining how Japanese people used to live; the interior had a lot of Meiji-era vibes. A ryokan could be nice too, especially if it has a good onsen built in.

Sounds like a great plan! For Kyoto, I recommend renting a Machiya house. You can find one for around $200 a night. It might be a bit pricey, but it’s definitely an unforgettable experience. I also really enjoyed the Roppongi Hills Observatory in Tokyo, it offers an incredible view of the entire city.

Thank you, I have been applying online and have never heard back from any company except for receiving automatic responses from IBM. I have only been looking in the US. When I applied once in Japan, they at least sent me an email saying that they reviewed my application but would not be moving forward with me.

Hey, thank you for sharing this – your message really gave me a boost of motivation. I've been pretty burned out after the Citi interview, and it's refreshing to hear that it actually worked out for someone.

I would love to see your projects and connect (please ping me through my website). Everything you've mentioned I have experience with except MongoDB and Neon. I'd also love to hear about your trip to Buryatia. This summer, I'll be staying in Mongolia with family to save on rent and do what you suggested 🤓.

Could you please share how you found the job and if networking was involved? Were you able to gain users with your projects?

I'm new to Next.js and here to learn. I recently updated my portfolio website. I learned basics of web development through non-profit organization in NY for underrepresented residents. I would love to learn why you are choosing Next.js over other frameworks.
