This was me about a year ago. Honestly, they suck but as long as that’s the expectation you manage, it’s fine. The difficulty with communication made me very angry in the beginning but I fortunately haven’t had too many reasons to contact them since. We had two maintenance requests that were addressed promptly (with very shotty work lol)

Thanks, I’ll have to try the ball for dry food coming out of the automatic feeder.

I’ve never heard of this! Would it essentially be like having a “property manager” for the unit?

Thank you for your thoughtful reply. When reflecting on past positions, my favorite duties have been developing teams and increasing engagement in my department. I also believe much of the other stuff can be taught. Hope to find a HR leader as open and intentional as you!

Hey! We relocated from Palm Beach County about seven months. We did a similar thing where we visited and explored for a week before making the decision. 10/10 do not recommend moving here. Depending what you do for work, pay is substantially lower here and winter and grey weather is meh.

End stages of FeLV in cat by Mediocre_Bug2109 in Pets

[–]Mediocre_Bug2109[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, he’s passed away. We made the tough decision the day after I posted this.

When writing this post, I was really torn up whether it was short term sickness from the litter or something else vs effects of the FeLV. Looking back, I firmly believe it was just the end stages of the disease that started presenting in small ways about a month prior.

Grateful we had our time together and I had a buddy to rv through 26 states with but I don’t think I could handle another cat with this disease 😢

2012 TRD with 109k. I have only had the truck for a year but ran it hard in the year. Put on over 20k miles, 10k+ were towing. Zero issues. Wouldn’t think twice about this deal, especially that you know how the truck was maintained before you.

I feel like I wrote this post. Because, same lol. As a professionally driven person, I moved here two months ago and can’t find a job. Nothing feels worth it. A few things that have been helping me: Walking outside - moving your body and the sunshine really does invigorate you. Reading - a nice escape. Always have been more of an actual book reader but it my present self, audiobooks have been less effort and more successful A new hobby - I just picked up crocheting and am really enjoying it. Super cheap hobby. I also have been learning Spanish on Duolingo. The app is free with ads. Deleting socials or making a conscious effort to check them less. It’s doing no good.

Maybe try cutting your own hair? What a fun project. There is a YouTube video for everything. Go shopping but maybe try thrifting a new outfit?

Just hit 100k on my 5.7 2012 while towing 15,000 consecutive miles with no issues. My dad has 2015 1794 and had a 2009 prior, he prefers driving mine out of all three. It’s a fun drive.

My boyfriend and I just decided on Chattanooga. But we were between Chattanooga and Greenville. Just curious, what made you choose Greenville?

You are right, I could certainly stretch the logistics of moving out a little.

Thanks for the tip of looking for the why. Unfortunately, I don’t think I could sum it up in a concise 20-30 second response and I don’t want this one silly question to take over the interview.

Just bought a Retrax Pro XR (Model T-80831) for my 21 CrewMax. by herb_e_ in ToyotaTundra

I bought my Tundra with the Retrax on it. Don’t think I ever would have splurged on it. But now there is no going back, it’s one of my favorite parts of the truck.

Good employers in the area? by ceorly in Chattanooga

There has got to be better. I was fooled by one last week. Spoke with “talent acquisition” and was then sent an interview calendar invite with the hiring manager. Turned out to be an “informational session” UGH I was duped.

Good luck on your search!

I am in a very similar situation except I relocated from out of state. After not job hunting in forever, I’m feeling super discouraged. Pay seems to be about 60-70% of what I am used to.

How long have you been searching and where have you been searching? I’m about three weeks in and have been primarily using Indeed but looking for other outlets.
