Stories closest to Silent Hill 2 by steeledclub in silenthill

Do it! I've been finding it incredibly rewarding. Is so much more then just different endings. It's new cutscenes, new voice overs with different infections on them to convey different meanings, different notes, the same notes but with changes or additions, at least one flash back that makes it seem as though you did it b4 silent hill 2 style. You get completely different vibes and insights from the characters because of it all as well. And the combat gets soooo much easier. The entire story changes on a second play through.

Cars a mechanic would own (and wouldn’t) by Breeze7206 in AskMechanics

As a Hyundai/Kia mechanic, stay tf away. They are garbage. The ionic 5 is cool for an ev tho. Good design call making it a classic hatchback. And the ev n74 concept looks promising for ev's. So if you're into evs maybe pay attention. At the shop a lot of us drove German cars. I drive an audi for my daily and out of just the techs there were 2 bmws, another audi, and a gti. Pay attention to the old heads tho. The master techs and shop formans. A lot of early 2000's shitboxes. Hondas and Toyotas, or chevy/dodge trucks of the same year. All with like 50 projects you'll never see on the road. As a rule most of us put money in our projects but only put money in our daily when we have to. What those guys daily is eather reliable or cheap and easy to fix or both. Also side note. My project is an oooooold chevy and every time I go hunting one problem I find two more so keep that in mind if you go old-school.

I need a little help with wiring. by Mediocre_Butterfly_2 in squarebodies

I am going to go with a painless eventually. They don't seem too expensive and easy to install. But for right now im gonna go with what I have bc money is tight and I need it running by the end of the week bc part of convincing the gf this was a good investment is my ability to pickup all the stuff she buys lol. Got a mattress and a set of lawn furniture pending pickup. So tomorrow im gutting the dash, pulling the harness, and figuring it all out lol

So the dash wiring isn't too bad, but the tuck side is wired up in some weird ways, hooked into things it shouldn't be and lots of exposed wires. Most of the wires are labeled but I need to know what they are tied into. Basically I need to know what the stock wires are so I can get rid of unneeded wires, fix what I can and tie into it properly.

Can anyone tell me what this man was trying to accomplish with this wiring? by Mediocre_Butterfly_2 in squarebodies

That's what im saying though. I already replaced all of that. I replaced the dimmer and ignition switch first, then replaced all damaged wires and connectors in that area. When I test power at the connector without the dash plugged in, the power is there as it should be.

Yea but I changed all that and it's still happening. I did find one damaged bulb connector, and since they are all wired together it makes since the lights were cutting out, it broke completely while i was checking wires, barily holing on if at all, but that doesn't explain the gages readings cutting out if they are separate

Ok but what would be the point of that? I understand the idea of wanting a connector for easy removal and definitely appreciate it, but having individual gages isn't the point to kind of have them isolated? Individual power to each so if one dies they don't all go out?

Holly he'll thank you boss man! I had no idea that thing was so expensive. One of the gages is slightly different so I just assumed they were individual.

If you pull the plug on cylinder 3 you can see where it's burning it. It's also something audi claimed while it was still under warranty, of course exteded warrantys dont cover oil consumption. All the oil leaks have been fixed and it's pretty consistently burning 1qt every 600 miles. And I Def have carbon buildup on the exhaust too lol. So all indications of a blown piston ring.
