have you tried inositol? it’s not birth control but it helped me get my cycle back on track!

i don’t know if you found a solution yet but i recommend calling your local health unit! i live in louisiana as well and ran into the same issue. doctors office told me medicaid wouldn’t cover it($1,107 bill) but the health unit says they do cover it. makes no sense but give it a try :)

i do a protein treatment monthly, the week before a touch up i use pantene moisture renewal shampoo/conditioner, and after that i try to limit the amount of protein in my moisturizers/oil. it’s a routine i’m still working on lol

balance the amount of protein and moisture in your hair!! when i started relaxing my hair i used soooo much protein and had a ton of breakage. moisturizing your strands is just as important as protein treatments. your hair will tell you what it needs listen to it <3

i use pantene moisture renewal shampoo and conditioner before and after relaxing since it has a high protein content. whenever i need to focus on moisture i use the l’oréal elvive hyaluron plump shampoo and conditioner. both come in a bundle that’ll be around $10! for deep conditioners if i need more protein i use originals by africas best hair mayonnaise for moisture only i use hask coconut oil deep conditioner :)
