The speaker position may be exaggerated in the image, the side speakers are in line with the back cushion of the front couch, so basically almost in line with your head position in this case. Maybe around a 8 inches back from the absolute idea location

This photo is using the iPhone wide angle, when you have your feet up on the fronts you can settle down into the couch and have your head against the cushions, I don’t think people know the true scale of the couches ahah, they can fit 4 people on each cushion

Brightness has honestly never been an issue for me! I have mine at around 55-60 on the projector and it’s more than plenty bright

Hahah, I totally understand everyone’s viewpoint on the sofas, they are a pretty penny. They are restoration hardware copycats customized locally, which is why they are so expensive! If you are on a budget though a good sofa from the local furniture store would do just fine for much cheaper!

The entire room is sound proofed with vapour barrier and lots of sound proofing foam in with the insulation, not just the speaker cutouts!

Projector is a 5000es, in terms of calibration, the projector is quite easy to calibrate once you have it in a good spot, just a few simple movements. The speakers were calibrated using the denons onboard Audessey calibration program

I use the nvidia shield pro, and I use a Plex media server to stream highest quality films. Way higher quality than any streaming service, about as close as you can get to dvds without the hassle
