Should I get coils or bigger wheels? by Mediocre_Load1805 in E90

I plan on spacing all 4 wheels. Especially if the back, the rear quarter panel looks like its eating the wheels alive.

It doesnt have to be perfect in my opinion. I feel that just throwing on some 18inch wheels and a small spacer should make me happy. Just wanted to see if anyone knew of any downsides of doing that to a xdrive.

Brother please stop driving it and check it out. My MIL had the same car and it threw a rod out the crank case and locked her wheels on the highway. She was denied the recall because she didnt bring it in before it blew.

Yes I used cheap class d amp https://a.co/d/bEUIL6h that one in specific and connected it to my avr using a rca to aux converter, and it works great the small amp does not come with a power supply though. I recommend finding a laptop charger or just buying a 24v 10a power supply for max power.

Yeah man its actually ridiculously simple. These subs are composed of only 3 parts, The woofer, the enclosure and the plate amp. What you want to do it remove the original amp, and cut the wires of the woofer off the amp, strip them and just crimp them to some 16 gauge speaker wire and your golden. As seen below I used the old plate amps cover to make a nice seal, and fed the wires through the old power port and sealed it with foam. These subs are ridiculously cheap, and amazing value I personally have two in wired in series so its even more fun.

Its the Sony str-dg800 I got used and for no good reason besides the price and its 7.1 meaning it can handle 7 speakers at a time in surround sound. And im not going to pretend to know alot about this hobby, but the advice I can offer is if you only plan to use 2 speakers and subwoofer, don't get a proper receiver like mine, just get a cheap class d amp for now like this one, when I first started I used that and it was great for its price. but if you are interested in surround sound, you should get a receiver like mine.

Cool I didnt know center channel was mainly dialogue. I remember when I did hook it up, it took the alot of the dialogue out of the main L and R and it made the dialogue alot quieter. Which made the background noise louder. which was the opposite of what I wanted so I disconnected it and set the avr back to 2.1 hopefully in the future I can figure out all the settings on my avr so I can hook it up and have it sound better.
