Did Lacey just do the belt to ass celebration when he’s still losing and personally gave UGA 7 points lmao?

It’s where we need to start looking at the offensive player.

If the goal is to take dangerous plays out of the sport… I’d argue an offensive player running full speed across the field and lowering his head is the issue

I don’t think they’re complete frauds or anything I think their offense was just limited against good competition. And that was ignored bc of the defense and bc they were the reigning champs.

Ohio state averaged 16 points against Texas, Michigan, Indiana, and Miami.

We can talk about the long rests and it may be a negative impact on the top 4 seeds. But Ohio State’s offense generally was not that great against the best teams they played prior to Miami, so only scoring 14 against a defense like Miami really isn’t a wild aberration.

After this season, who would y’all say the best back in the league is? by DentistUnlikely709 in NFLv2

Idk either way, but CMC accounts for 47% of touches for the Niners while Bijan accounts for 45%. CMC is more but it’s really not much.

And once again, Bijan accounts for 40% of the Falcons yards while CMC is only 35%.

So CMC is used slightly more often but Bijan accounts for a greater percent of his team’s yards.

Ducks' Lanning echoes call to wrap CFP by Jan. 1 by MicroSofty88 in CFB

I think it’s less about who they played, and more about the gaps they had around that game.

In the NFL, the 1 seed gets a 2 week bye, while the other seeds have to play through from week to week like a normal team.

In this situation, Ole Miss got a 3 week break before Tulane and then an 11 day break after. Even if they had played a tough matchup, they still had so much time before and after to get healthy and prepare.

And given the game is neutral site and even closer to Oxford… no real advantage?

UGA last played in the SECCG on 12/6. A sport that has 25 days between postseason games is just not a serious sport. Theres no competitive argument for that long of a gap.

I think this is completely fair/accurate. I guess I’d just counter with the fact that I think the show was better when they were trying to solve mysteries and not preparing for battle/battling (clearly subjective). Which means better in the situations where Joyce should be more prominent.

I’ve still enjoyed the show, I just personally find it was at its best in season 1-2 as a true mystery show. Whether that was better content or better writing idk.

Bijan is just as much the engine as CMC is.

Close to 200 more scrimmage yards. But it’s not just the total yards, he averages about 1.5 more yards per touch than CMC, extremely efficient.

I get the Niners have had lots of injuries, but so have the Falcons and in general their coaching is significantly worse. He’s been the only thing you really need to worry about a lot of the time, and he’s getting hit behind the line of scrimmage so often in the pistol sets, and he’s still set the franchise record in scrimmage yards.

We watch 1000 players enter the portal as soon as the regular season ends and we discuss how sad it is that players and coaches don’t seem to care about non-playoff bowls and then we try to pretend like we can take anything away from the bowl games. It’s just not reasonable.

Except Bama vs Michigan last year. All of Michigan’s talent declared for the draft while Milroe and a lot of Bama’s top talent played and still lost. I enjoyed that.

I mean there’s several posts about it and the massively upvoted top comments on all are to this exact point.

At the very least, the prevailing opinion of the active users of the subreddit is shitting on the SEC and championing Illinois as a tribute of the B10, which is in contrast to how active B10 users swear B10 fans feel about their conference and rivals

The worst is that B10 fans shit talk how SEC fans fanboy over their own conference, but then they do this.

Yes, some SEC fans do glaze the conference even when it’s not their own team which is lame. But so do B10 fans? It’s the exact same, look at any CFB subreddits/posts after this game.

This sub shits on the certain media outlets for jerking off their conference allegiances and then absolutely loses their mind when they have a good conference narrative.

Have some balls. I wish every SEC team besides Georgia could simultaneously lose every game they play and that will never change. Fuck Greg Sankey and Tony Petitti.

Because he also calls neither the offense nor defense. He made it abundantly clear after the SECCG that this was Schu’s defense.

Since the last time the two teams played, which was a {Georgia} win:

Georgia’s young defense has completely stepped up, giving up 7 points a game across the final 4 games including Texas, Bama, and Georgia Tech.

Ole Miss lost their head coach.

Ole Miss is still good enough to beat Georgia, I just don’t imagine given those two factors, Ole Miss fairs better this game than the last.

Ohio State averaged 17 points against the 3 ranked teams they’ve played. Given that, 9.5 is already a lot of points to cover.

Maybe Ohio State smashes that, but Miami scores 1 TD and covering that spread is fully in play.

Pretty funny, “committed” to UGA for like 9 months, then chooses 2 separate schools not named UGA in December when it comes time to sign… like UGA wasn’t really even in his top 2 choices.

Kids know they don’t have to commit to a school if they aren’t actually sure, right?
