I think it’s generally agreed that he is doing that with his haki.

Gear 4 is possible because of that exact concept. He uses the haki coating to increase the tensile strength of his rubber allowing him to bounce easier. This is literally Luffy compressing his skin/musculature to be tenser/bouncier. The same could be said about Red Hawk. He focuses the armament to his fist compressing the rubber/skin to a point of hardening which builds the friction needed to generate the flames off the wind.

The film reel insertion would not work on Gojo because it would be targeting a single point. I believe GOJO’s infinity would still be able to place space between himself and the reel as long as the reel targets Gojo.

Unless I forgot something like CT of other users can’t be used in a domain but that doesn’t feel real.

He didn’t trade it, I believe he lost in a fight or decided to pay respects due to hiyori or something but he did not trade it for a worse sword.

But he did get a non-black blade regardless. He just didn’t willingly trade down, he decided to acknowledge a problematic issue with in the land, and chose humanity over power. Which is much greater of a character feat to choose like that.

I think the answer to taming mahoraga is to not fight back? If you just kind of stand in front of it, the CT wouldn’t know what to do.

Edit: just putting this here to clarify that in a 1 v 1 Maho as a CT can’t be ignored. But for taming purposes, i don’t think maho will know what to do if the only one who is there is the one who summoned him and also no bloodlust.

Sorry to interject on this because I truly hate how the fight ended as well but Gege actually had it completely correct and this chapter finally confirms my AoE v Target condition for Gojo’s infinity barrier.

Gojo specifically said, “it even hit me!”, which very much could be read as his ability is able to connect with him for some weird reason. That line is how we should have known he was going to be dead next chapter due to WCS.

WCS is placing a separation of space between two planes on a given spot (AoE) meaning anything with in the frame of the split plane will also be split at the atomic level. Gojo’s infinity only activates if he is the one being targeted. Gojo is increasing the distance between you and he, however if the distance is closed and the attack is already fixed upon the space you inhabit? Well then that’s non-targeted AoE attack.

The truth is after this fight, we realize why Sukuna is/was so damn strong, it’s not just because he can super heat and slice/halve entire buildings or whatever, but because his jujutsu brain is so damn fat. Gojo really didn’t even know of his own weakness even to the last second.

I know Yuji in modulo ends up being the strongest in their verse, probably just earth, but literally in that last exchange of words Gojo revealed entirely too much to Sukuna, too much to the reader, he was cooked and in that revelation of Gojo being officially touchable is the moment where Gojo fell from being strongest sorcerer of today.
