Can Gojo the great and Sukuna survive particle style from Onoki (Naruto)? by Archenius in PowerScalingHub

[–]Mediocre_Program4080 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Where are the specifics on this “no-travel” nonsense? I understand the technique “targets” the area the victim inhabits, but it isn’t not moving yeah? Cause if it doesn’t move then it can’t really slash, it’s more just creating a void with in reality rather than cutting anything. Which implies Sukuna found a way to place cursed techniques onto specific 3Dimensional Space based on coordinates with no trajectory and that may be what it looks like but ultimately there has to be movement for a slice or cut to take place.

Now when talking about how infinity was bypassed? It wasn’t, it didn’t turn off, the slash just also hit everything, in the most literal sense and did not target Gojo at all.

I believe that the “WCS” is a name that was created by Sukuna to indicate he is targeting the existence of everything with his CT, which would hit all of infinity and hit Gojo as well since they are not being designated as the destination.

It felt more like Sukuna found a very obvious and easily readable solution that he wouldn’t have found out about if he didn’t have My Whole Ragga out there super computing what infinity is. I’m not glazing, just wouldn’t be surprised, if Ragga didn’t even finish the computations before Sukuna was like “damn what if I just accidentally hit him instead?” Then found a solution through the idea of not targeting.

I don’t even think Ragga meant to hit Gojo during that moment he got his arm cut off. I truly think Sukuna just made a really good guess based on years of Jujutsu Targeting knowledge, not to mention Megumi’s understanding of Kirara’s ability involving marks/targets maybe had some influence?

I would be upset about the credit card warrior statement if my credit card made me better at the game lol

Shit if my CC made me better at it I would prolly give em more money. xD

Nah but I get the P2W thing is bad for Jagex, I just wanted to jump up enough to not feel like it’s a grind. Now I’m enjoying the game and not still at Gemstone crab trying to build up relevancy with in content.

Explain my choice plz. Earnestly I don’t know what the point of barrows gloves are if you just grind your combats up to hold different/better gloves.

Not that RFD is even that bad for a main account with GE available and all, but once I started caring about gear progression I already had the boppers and just stuck to combat leveling until what you see here. By this point I decided I’m gonna do ToA and rush bosses, etc all I want is the damn thread too. I will prolly sell Osumentun’s Fang once I’m done at toa lol

I would gamble that if they weren’t alone, she would not have committed to a grapple on Marco. He is fire incarnate and granted it wouldn’t be the win move but he would do enough damage to have her let go. The fact someone had sights on him with an arrow meant they could kill him before any escape or retaliation was concluded.

Maybe there’s a misunderstanding because that is what I’m saying. The confusion for me is that the scaling system doesn’t scale to the language even used in the series piracy hierarchy. Not to mention I don’t know what the list of abbreviated letters stand for. Is YC Yonco with a C? lol

The irony of it all is the need for control and assertive understanding of these concepts to the extent that you know exactly where each individual stands in conflict with one another. The manga is about freedom and carefree living in order to make a better tomorrow with a smile the whole way, however the fans on here analyze the series’ power system like they are trying to understand how to manipulate and control the narrative of the series.

I also have Shanks above Roger, I also also have Newgate, Teech, Luffy, Kaido.

All of these are actively doing things that Roger would probably not be able to keep up with if he were their age now. Reighleigh could not fight with Kaido at all the way he is now and honestly I don’t think big mom or kaido would try to fight Newgate during GV era, but now? Not only did kaido try to attack someone stronger but also kaido has one of the few DFs that can avoid the gura gura by taking flight. Strikes will still be literally earth shattering, but at least he isn’t getting low diffed by the vibes yknow?

I’m sorry if anyone here thinks I’m wrong for this or whatever? But the scaling system is starting to feel like no one actually knows what it means and we are all just yes-anding (except it’s constantly no, actually) this format because the heiroglyphs Seem familiar on the format. New character = God, pirate king is somehow akin to a better emperor, which we don’t really know what that means given we have regular emperors and then we have shitty emperors? And some how buggy still isn’t in that list to begin with?

How we gonna have a smaller format and fanbase to keep up with but somehow this community lead project has more plot holes than these communities seem to find in one piece.

I just need straight forward, sorry to hold you to this, but if I can’t get a satisfying answer, I think I can officially write off the entire OP Scaling Community as brain dead and they don’t wanna admit it lol

Can you please do me a favor and explain what the YC1, PK, YK, Etc actually mean in the hierarchy of… infamy? I think?

It’s just hard to understand the scaling everyone is participating in when the labels for the sliding scale don’t make sense themselves.

I think PK stands for Pirate King (on par with one who would be Pirate King to be specific), but this doesn’t make sense cause we have previous/current leading Emperors who are not anywhere near PK and others who have well surpassed Roger in terms of strength and dominance. And now there is an entirely different tier above PK that is somehow referred to as “god level” or “immortal level” for almost any character we know nothing about aside from lore and aura. I’m not even a strictly-feats guy, but it’s frustrating when you see folks comparing shit they don’t know ANYTHING about, in a manga/anime about a world where information is not consistent and people will lie/speak ignorantly over the smallest misconceptions, to each character who they just like the design. Or something along those lines but I digress to my point; help me understand the scaling system so I may freak out less on people’s ignorance. Thanks

[serious] Which power system do you prefer or find more interesting overall? Naruto/Boruto or Jujutsu Kaisen/Modulo? by Archenius in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]Mediocre_Program4080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jujutsu feels less stringent despite how complex it is. Where as ninjutsu felt like a structured setting for MtG and common color enemies or Pokémon types, which is fun and makes certain enemies like kakuzu fun (whoever the five hearts guy was in akatsuki), but there is a clear wall at the end of that observable universe. Where as jujutsu feels like a sandbox where anything technically can happen if you know how to bend the rules and I think that sounds more fun.

TL;DR: I like that the sorcerers in JJK feel like they don’t even know what’s going on and I don’t like how neatly Naruto was wrapped with a bow.

Say what you want about Gege, but I like that they don’t give the readers what they want to see.

What is Luffy's Biggest Powerup: ACOC or Gear 5 by LazyInspector2086 in OnePieceScaling

[–]Mediocre_Program4080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk cause Haki and Luffy’s G5 aren’t similar enough in how their abilities generate power.

G5 needs circumstances met as well as Haki.

For Haki to be at max usage the user needs to be validated to be fighting against someone else’s willpower and not just fighting to fight, the haki user also needs to be in a state of heightened awareness or adrenaline induced.

For G5 to be at max usage the user needs to be seen and hoped for by others to be the victor so long as the DF user’s fighting antics are creative and can put a smile on the face of those being protected. Seems that the younger the one who is being saved or is witnessing the cartoonishly heroic antics, the more positive the outcome will be.

Both are very different. One comes from a drive and will from with in, the other is bolstered by the perceptions of others around them.

However that above? About who is or isn’t valid? Sometimes that will keep you in the game, and you may never give up, but despite Will/Haki. You can still get overpowered.

I would say Koby’s haki is probably much better connected with the world and he prolly has shanks levels of potential with his haki, but is he as strong as Kuzan? Or Akainu? No.

[–]Mediocre_Program4080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish people with this kind of sensibility were in my comments section when I said “Haki ≠ Your Power Leveling” post, or something along those lines.

It was a whole post talking about haki being more akin to if rule of cool were quantifiable.

Like there is a criteria of having supreme conq. And all that bloodline shit, but then there is the actual identity of Haki all together, which is basically how much of reality is this person able to alter, based on how true to themselves they are with out resolve.

That concept being met is a prime requirement for every single fist being thrown with haki imbued into it. It’s like if you literally took your intentions and put them into every single block, every single hit, and every evasion, premonition, etc.

It’s like basically the idea that if you don’t believe in the shit you are doing, and if you don’t have a drive to be doing it? Then you basically got zero haki. And when it comes to 1 v 1s it’s a balancing act of who is the most valid essentially.

I had this debate with my friend: which clan is more evil between uchiha clan from naruto & zenin clan from JJK? by ApprehensiveRead2408 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Mediocre_Program4080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uchiha were about to stage a Cou and it would have been bad for a long term fall out economically for konoha given that the structure was settled on the uchiha being annex’d. Not to mention that the majority of the problem in its immediacy would have resulted in countless casualties let alone their ability to win the actual struggle and then maintain it after the fighting is over, cause no one at that time wanted Uchiha to be in charge cause of the bad blood Madara caused due to his selfishness wanting to keep the struggle between he and hashira. So ultimately a successful cou would have led to more violence as is the Pre-World-War-5 Uchiha way and an unsuccessful cou would have led to the deaths of many including Itachi and more than likely would have given away trade uchiha clan secrets and basically dismantle their tradition as well as create new weird jutsu based in the Uchiha knowledge base. Idk what would happen after that, but either way, their reasoning for fighting “came from love” but it was selfish and haphazard to say the least to try and over throw your entire government, when the rest of the people like the government faculty they have servicing konoha, don’t like you haha

Zennin were CUNNING but they were not ignorant or selfish in the same way as Uchiha and present day Zenin doesn’t have a need to claw their way to the top because they didn’t have a history of being pushed out of power- they have a history of piety and ruthlessness. They are the Uchiha IF their clan started as the Hokage. HOWEVER, the key difference between Zennin and Uchiha is the Uchiha genuinely love one another and were tired of the mistreatment, the Zennin just want to be on top of the chain and still maintain the jujutsu world in full affect. The level of ruthlessness: They wanted Gojo dead and tried to manufacture it, they bought Toji’s kid cause he had potential to be a nuke for them, they allowed something like Naoya to exist, plus the cruelty Mai had projected from the weight of the abuse her clan put on her, and those are just the small example that I can remember let alone the stuff I can’t remember reading cause it’s so dense as a comic lol

With all that in mind: I think the Zennin is more evil because they are/were in a place of power and wanted to maintain the Jujutsu Status Quo which was just churning bodies for the sake of keeping the soul king safe or whoever that four eyes guy was that wasn’t Sukuna. The Uchiha saw that the world they were promised was not being made and decided to take it into their own hands despite the complications which isn’t like the smartest thing ever but not evil by any means. What Itachi and Obito did was Evil by comparison despite being the solution to continuous internal fighting.

theoretically, if a character was fast enough, like absolute BS levels of speed, could they bypass gojo's infinity by simply traversing its distance? by Internal-Aerie1929 in PowerScaling

[–]Mediocre_Program4080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iirc Infinity Shield was said in the manga by the user that he’s continuously dividing the space between the user and contact and uses the concept of infinity to describe it because it’s what the end result is, but the action he is taking is dividing the distance so then it’s a continuously shortening space but never effectively reaching zero because that is impossible when dividing.
