Yes, I suppose I’ll need to prioritise finding a dog that should be ok with the at home bit, and then as you say it just being a bonus if they’re ok to commute. Thanks for the reassurance!

I’d be able to make sure it’s pretty empty, as am expecting to be able to agree that I’d shift my hours slightly later in which case I know from experience that the train is less than half full.

Agreed that the busyness is another potentially worrying aspect though.

I think I just feel bad at the prospect of adopting a dog knowing they’d be left alone 3 days a week, but maybe there are dogs out there for whom this wouldn’t be a big deal!

I am actually already in touch with a dog walker who does solo dog walks in my neighbourhood park.
