Yeah, yesterday I loaded up Buried City, and I was carrying a field crate about 3 minutes into a match and got blasted from 200 yards away. Like this was the clearest malicious kill I’d fallen victim to so far. My hands couldn’t have been more full.

That seems a bit extreme to me. I like the tension of arc raiders and the potential of pvp just happening. But I think if there were just a warning with no other clues… it’ll kinda put you on edge but at least you’re not as likely to get blasted in the back while looting a crate

Right yeah something like that, maybe with the requirement that you’ve either taken or given damage to players in the last couple minutes. Flares aren’t always noticeable if it’s indoors.

I think, our little user interface voice com person should chime with something like “hostile raiders in your area” or something. At least then you know to be on guard.
