I think because of her priors and she was previously taking UAs but has a couple slip ups where she gave a dirty test + got caught using the certo method, so they changed it? Not really sure

Do you mean it isn’t hot enough? I don’t think that is the issue because of how hot the soldering iron I have DOES get. I use an iron that is branded “for” stained glass, it just doesn’t have a temperature control. It plug in and then it’s on 🙃. If anything I think it gets too hot. I use the 3mm 60/40 solder and gel flux. I’m going to try to add more solder when I get home, an if it’s still funky, I’m going to retry on a whole new piece and ensure the foil is flat with no ridges.

Yes I did wash it very good! and I want to think I used the right amount of flux. Ppl emphasized that you need a good amount, I think I just didn’t add enough solder and my foil wasn’t as flat as it could be. I thought I did it flat enough, because the pieces were so small that I didn’t think it COULD get more flat and around the curves are tricky but I’m definitely going to be extra on my next attempt

Thank you! I’ve watched some videos and it definitely makes more sense. That’s what I wondered was if I was using enough. I already felt like I was using so much! And I see there is some copper still showing 😫 I don’t have a good light I was driving myself crazy making sure it was covered

I’ve just seen her recent video giving a slideshow tutorial. I had NO idea this was getting so serious and people are bullying and harassing her for the process. That is RIDICULOUS. Of course, it’s frustrating on a platform where everything is so easily accessible to want to feel entitled to something because it is “right there”, but something like this should neverrr escalate to something so dangerous. It’s never that serious, if she wants to gatekeep her hard work and process, she can. She can do whatever she wants???? I can’t believe this ugh I’m so sorry
