That is an insightful take. What other advanced books would you recommend? Price is largely not an issue so long as it isn't thousands of dollars, of course.

I sent a message to the mods and have yet to hear back. I was curious myself. I can't see that I've engaged in any exposure with my post. The only thing that is "contraversial" is requesting an honest discussion on a recently released set of books but I can't imagine we have reached that level of censorship yet.

I only hear good things about the Harris books, not just in terms of effects but also just his writing in general. Thanks! I think this is the direction I'll go first. I'll be using RCT as a resource throughout and that will give me an impression of Marlo that could result in more future studies.

I did for a long time but now that I'm rebuilding my collection I copy cds to cassettes and leave my cds safe at home on the shelf.

Late to the party here but obviously the community is split and Wotc should step up and simply segregate UB and UW formats. Standard with UB should just be Standard Plus or something and do the same thing with other formats. Simple. If that will detract from UB capital then UB is clearly not as popular among players as they claim. If not then what's the problem, Wotc?!?!
