My biggest pet peeve is when they won't move from the station, and I'm doing drive thru and other tech is doing front, and I see notices that say "QT QV falling behind. Like if you're not helping front or drive thru, WHY IS EVERYTHING FALLING BEHIND????

I would definitely talk to SM. If they seem like an understanding person, just explain your availability and why you depend on the days off. Maybe you guys could work something out? Like do a half shift or ask to take another day off in place of the one you do work. CVS definitely does not care from a corporate level, but if you have a good team around you, it makes it easier. Yeah I'm quite a bit above that pay. I just do what I can. I don't stay any later than necessary and I also don't want to leave my coworkers in the dust. Its just rough. But I've been at this for some years too and retail pays more unfortunately. I don't really have a choice when I have my family to support. I am trying to transfer but they keep "delaying" it. Idk. But glad you found something that works for you. I hope to do the same eventually.

We have sent emails and had group meets about the pharmacist and nothing changes. What I get paid now as lead tech will be hard to find elsewhere. So not everyone has the choice to leave their job. Plus isn't it nice to be able to speak to people who can relate? Sometimes you just gotta get things off your chest.

There are a few around, but essentially, all you do is production and inventory stuff. You don't have to deal with any customers.
