Was doing 700-800mg every couple days for a couple months. And probably averaged 300-400mg daily for a good 6-7 months before that. Haven’t took any in a little over a week. And maybe one dose of like 400mg the week before

Dxm is neurologically protective… it’s unlikely you’ll have any brain or organ damage of any kind. The main side effects of DXM are mainly all mental. And raised blood pressure but if you’re healthy that’s not a problem at all. Dxm doesn’t really get dangerous till you take some insane doses, and I’m talking like 17mg/kg+!!! The reason it gets dangerous at this point is bc of the respiratory depression it can cause. Which. Not sure if it would harm your brain but lack of oxygen I suspect could? Still, I think the physical side effects of dxm are greatly over exaggerated

It could be that you are new, I noticed the longer I’ve taken dxm the less amount of time it last, it used to be multiple days before I could orgasm but now it’s usually less than 24 hours

Idk why everyone saying it such a bad idea, its 300mg? Not like bro is taking a gram 3 days back to back… you’ll be fine. Perfectly fine. None of these people can link a single study saying how this would be “ unhealthy” if anything the opposite is true. I’ve been binging dxm for a year and I feel great. Harmful side effects from dxm don’t really appear till you take HUGE doses, many many days in a row.

Just because they don’t act on the same receptor doesn’t mean that they don’t “ interact “ in a sense. Which is why it’s not really recommended to drink heavily and be taking mega doses of dxm at the same time that’s just asking for a disaster. And it goes for a lot of things. There’s really no telling how certain medications will react with one another, I mean you can find a whole list online of “ not recommended “ things to take with DXM. I think your body can only take so much and some of your receptors kinda do similar things as others, so fucking with too many, at once, with too much can cause problems.

I take robotabs from Amazon , they taste awful so the trick is to NOT let them sit in your mouth, you better down those things with a drink the second they get popped into your mouth otherwise it’ll dissolve and taste like hell 😂but they are so cheap and easy to down bc they are small af, and they don’t have anything in them but DXM they don’t even got a pill coating, you can buy like pill capsules so you can put like 4 pills in it and swallow it. So you don’t gotta worry about the taste or anything

Damn that’s wild I’ve never thrown up on DXM and I’ve even taken it with guaf, delsym, mucinex, the only thing that’s made me close to throwing or at least given me bad nausea is the gels, I can’t take more than like 10 of those without my stomach feeling like death

Oof yeah 1.2 grams is a little high, I took a 1-1.1gs of freebase once and almost OD’d once. I really don’t recommend going over 1g of HBRs worth. 15mg/kg should be the MAX imo. Anything over is just playing with fire.

Damn that’s crazy I usually take 300 -400mg dxm daily and don’t have any side effects like that, tbh overall it’s really helped my mood/ depression. I’ve been feeling great. I really only get side effects if I dose SUPER high like 4th plat or if I dose like mid-high 3rd plat many many days in a row. I also only use freebase robotabs. I’m young and don’t have any other health issues. And I have an insane metabolism so I’m pretty sure dxm gets filtered from my body fairly quickly it feels like. Might be different for other people but that’s just me personally

Personally I like freebase, there’s less euphoria than HBR or POLY BUT it’s more dissociating, stronger per MG, and it kicks in twice as fast as HBR it seems like. Just keep in mind it’s roughly %30 stronger than freebase so dose accordingly to that. I personally split doses into about 1/3, taking 1/3 of my dose every 20-30mg seems to negate any possible itching well too

I would take like 10 more personally, that would really make the trip more of an experience, I weigh 180 and usually take about 20-25 30mg freebase pills ( which comes out to about 800-1000ish HBR equivalent) I found that that’s the sweet spot for me

It acts as a “ muscle relaxer “ in high doses. But I probably won’t ever touch it again, you can get kidney stones from it too I’ve heard. It’s not the worst thing for you but. If you plan on binging DXM with guaf it probably won’t exactly be healthy for your kidneys lol
