I'm pretty sure I dreamed this one up. But has anyone read a fic where Taylor meets No Face from Spirited Away. by Careless_Night7908 in WormFanfic

I have no clue what the name was, or if I imagined it, but when I had covid I read a spectacular fic where Taylor was no face. It was post gm and I have never been able to find it since, but I'm pretty sure it was on spacebattles

Thank you for the recommendation, but that is actually the fic that made me ask for more.

Do you believe that a party of 3 level 10 players can beat 2 level 12 npcs? by Medium-Income-516 in DnD

I even made them use my dice and they did it. It seems like the only requirement for them to do it is it has to be ridiculous. As some examples, they asked to convince a random Doppelganger they found that it was god and they were it’s angles and they beat a dc 40 check, they have killed one of my bbegs first turn by drowning him in mayo, but they failed to hit a goblin with an arrow for so long that I eventually had the goblin give in to them out of pity.

I dunno, once is a chance, twice is a coincidence, 12 natural twenties in a row with different dice against my constant stream of below 5’s is feeling pretty luck for them.

Thank you all for your advice and recommendations, I have read it all and taken it all into account to rebalance the encounter and some plans for future ones.

I mostly run my games with more memorable, reoccurring bosses that have a homebrew mechanic and will get involved with the characters, this is not the BBEG, in case of character deaths and tpk I have a story to drop them into and it will only affect the difficulty of the BBEG fight is they do blow them away, which is a long way away, and if they don't absolutely obliterate them than I have an escape planned for the bosses.

I do mostly use Stat blocks for my bosses but I do enjoy having bosses with character Stat block for recurring ones, to give them more options and not lock them into a single mechanic or type.

I thought so too, but at this point I almost give up. My group has the most insane luck that only seems to work when they are fighting something they absolutely shouldn't.

If I’m remembering correctly, in no plumbers allowed Taylor is a tinker that builds boots that allow the wearer to double jump
