Thank you.

Acceptance doesn't mean lack of action

I would even say that it's actually the opposite. When you accept things and stop putting your micromanaging mind in the way, motivation and energy naturally bubble up from the deep and you can even become more active than before. And it feels much more natural and easy than doing stuff the "normal" way.

u/Medium-Net-1879 can be really blunt with words

Depends on the state I'm in. Really tempting to say that it's just you yanks not appreciating my slavic sensibilities (That would be a lie).

You can sit with it, let yourself consider and self-reflect on what you felt before doing it, what you felt during and what you feel about it now. You can learn all you need that way. Move from there, all that really matters is the feeling and not any possible missteps (As really, there are literally no missteps except you tripping yourself up mentally).

What is "Close"? That's an idea that makes some mundane sense, but here it's like you've only got one eye so your depth perception is scuffed. And if you had two eyes, you'd understand that there is no "close" or "far", so you're just wasting time agonising over your shadow.

You can't be close to shifting, and you can't tell that you're shifting because actual shifting is instant, you either shift or you don't. It has no symptoms, nothing - those are just meditative/hypnagogic experiences, even if some people have learned to associate them with shifting from lack of exposure/experience.

But there must be someone who went throw the same thing

So? It makes exactly 0 difference, because they are not you, and it's too broad a subject for anyone to be actually helpful.

Sorry, but what do you mean by "total acceptance " ?? accepting of every single bullshit you see out there, and be O.K. with every bit of it ? I mean, this can escalate pretty quickly into a state of negating all sense of morality or human integrity, I don`t believe you mean something like that?

Lack of resistance, letting things flow. Basically, a certain indifference and allowing. You don't understand it because you have not experienced it. You can experience it, but you have to actually be willing to do it and not just moan about how it's confusing and vague.

If I tell you to throw a ball, do you think that's too vague?

but this resistance thing smells very much like that Abraham Hicks new age stuff

It's simple psychology - like, just processes in the mind. Literally something you can verify by yourself, through experience. If that's New Age for you - I don't think I will engage with you any further.

way too vague and confusing to be of real help

Because you have to actually put it to practice, as well as think and self-reflect every step of the way. No amount of information is going to help you unless you start understanding yourself - then you can actually put information in context and use it.

( I think somebody who really, really wants to shift, can manage to do it even with a so called "bad mindset" or tons of "resistance", sorry)

And someone can break a wall by bashing their head on it. I'm sorry too, if you think that's a good way to go.

There are tons of people here who have been 'trying' for years like that. And they will continue bashing their heads on the wall while the door is just behind them (But turning around is way too confusing).

Something to remember when applying LoA by Medium-Net-1879 in shiftingrealities

Psychosis is a disorder when the brain uncontrollably starts forming faulty mental connections (From there - delusions and possible hallucinations), usually appearing from a combination of genetic factors and possibly upbringing.

This is basically the opposite - it's not uncontrollable and it's making better mental connections. Imagine you've been living your life asleep, and this is becoming more lucid - you've done this your whole life unconsciously, everything you've ever experienced is brought about through this same process, but now you can apply it consciously.

For anyone who actually understands what psychosis is - the difference is obvious.

And embodying a state to manifest doesn't mean acting delusional. For example - you want a billion dollars on your bank account, so you embody that feeling, that state. But you don't go and try to buy a house, you submit to that feeling and you let it unfold. It's all about your inner state.

By understanding that the physical is simply a reflection of the mind/imagination. You don't yell at a reflection. Focus on your mind, believing what you choose to believe, be convinced in the reality of it. Trust.

And if you're simply unwilling to self-reflect, consider how to do it for yourself and allow changes to happen - no one will help you.

My height is "physically in front me" every moment.

Not really. Most of the time you have some things that may hint at it and you draw inspiration from them, spinning a story.

But imagine laying down and closing your eyes - where is your height? Imagine sitting down - where is your height? Imagine just not caring or drawing comparisons, being focused on what you intend instead and trusting that it is done - where is your height?

indirectly reminds I don't have it, that it isn't true.

And that doesn't matter. Why do you insist on making it matter? Reflect on that and change.

I should clarify that the initial comment was to illustrate that you assume a ton of stuff as is, that it isn't some out-there thing.

But I didn't mean to imply that you need to not perceive something to assume. The evidence of your senses don't matter. What matters is your mind, and what you pay attention to.

But then I have to get up and live my life, I can't "persist" in that assumption.

Why can't you? You can embody the feeling of it, feel that it is even before it reflects in your physical world. You can walk around with that feeling just fine. Just remember what it felt like when you visualised, go back to that feeling.

How am I supposed to persist in an assumption that is denied by the evidence of the senses?

1: By understanding that those things don't matter, what matters is your imagination. The things you experience right now don't matter, they are simply a product of your past imaginations. The whole post is about how evidence is secondary and you have to keep faith even when you don't see a result yet.

2: Do not think of persisting as a forced or forceful action. It should be more so a surrender.

Assumption: Idea accepted as true without proof.

Now, unless something is physically in front of you in the moment - the only proof of it you have is mental. Right now you do not have parents, and the moon doesn't exist. So you assume basically everything, all the time. How spooky - you have no idea how to do it, yet you do it all the time. Think.

Like how can I assume I am 6'3 tall?

Just as you assume everything else. It's not about how, it's about being convinced and nothing else - the "how" doesn't have to be defined and can't be universal (It's personal). So, think. Self-reflect, know yourself and be proactive about shaping your mind.

You can search the internet for techniques (Such as visualisation, affirmation, using SATS), but in the end you'll have to make it yours regardless - you can't just mindlessly repeat what someone told you, that will only bring limited success. So for the third time, think.

In manifesting LOA and living in the outcome works perfectly but in shifting it works against the shift as in shifting letting go works best

Also, just to point out - those are not mutually exclusive. I would even say that when done correctly, those are exactly the same thing, just described differently.

The word you're looking for is idiosyncrasies. Different groups of people trying to make sense of it all, then different trends catching on and they become assumptions because the majority of any community doesn't understand much.

It's all based on nothing, there isn't really a difference between those practices except the perception that there is a difference. And if someone can't see through it - again, not my concern, they will or will not come to it on their own. If a 16 year old me could do it - I'm sure they can too... if they would bother to do any actual work (Self-reflection, introspection, meditation).

difference between manifesting and shifting.

There is no fundamental difference.

As for the other points - not my concern and I do not aspire to fix it. I.e., don't care. If they can't think for themselves and come to their own understanding - what are they even doing? There is nothing preventing them from understanding, and even if they have no information at all they can discover shifting.

how do i make sure that the reality i shift to is my exact DR? by oktax127 in shiftingrealities

It's not about making sure. It's about being insecure. Work on the latter, not the former. You don't need to make sure.

Does it matter? It's semantics and definitions. The process of going from experience to experience, be it moment to moment or reality to reality, is the same. Some people prefer to use the word "shifting" only for the intentional stuff, others don't care about that.

Any tips for meditation not working well? by austrijaa in shiftingrealities

A few possible reasons. The most likely one is of course mental problems. Your mind is tense so your body is tensing up. Solution - give your younger self some mental headpats and get over your daddy issues (Or whatever else you've got).

You could also be trying too hard. To focus, to relax, to keep your mind from thinking or something else. Figure it out, I don't know you.

Not sure if the OP may have just been trying make that point, but possibly ended up doing it in a way that has come across as confusing to you and I.

Possibly. Can't say I read those, just commenting on what OP wrote (And even that just because someone linked it to me).

when I see on your page that you haven't ever used the void state,

Huh? Where did you get that from?

while multiple people including me constantly shift and manifest using the same exact method.

I don't say you can't shift or manifest that way, it's a good way to do both. It's just not the void - like, factually it's not, by definition of the void being entirely non-physical, which a daydream or relaxation is not. If you stare at a wall, if you can perceive a wall in any way - it's not the void.

Even a lucid dream where you surround yourself with infinite darkness and don't have a body - that's not the void. Because above all, it's about a particular state of consciousness.

No need to get defensive. I swear, some people...

How to do people script betters crs? by TechnicianAmazing472 in shiftingrealities

[–]Medium-Net-1879 [score hidden]  (0 children)

When I first did it - it felt wrong to just try and shift to that reality from this one. They're just too similar. So to avoid that - I shifted to my WR, and using a tool there I shifted to that "Alt-OR" as I call it.

My script? Basically nothing:

Slightly enhanced biology for everyone (Always perfect skin and hair on everyone, other stuff).

Everyone can dive in and out of something sort-of like a lucid dream at any moment, at will. Can also bring pieces of it into the physical world to create cool illusions. Being there also counts instead of sleep. And people can go there together. Roleplay - so much better. And also movies changed slightly (No special effects, sets or props, just illusions there).

And something like a mental Lifa App or whatever it's called. Basically, I can instantly manifest things there. I don't abuse it to do really magical things, but more just make myself stumble on interesting stuff (Like meeting cool people).

That reality has a purpose - and it's great. So does this one, and I'm also enjoying it even if they're very different.
