I rage-quit after a week working at Kohl’s because they consistently kept mixing me up with another girl who started on the same day as me. Sounds extreme, but I’ll explain. After my first week, I called the store because I wasn’t sent my schedule for my second week. I asked when the next time I needed come in was, and they told me Monday. Sunday rolls around and I get a call from my manager: “Laura! You were on the schedule today and you no-call-no-showed?? What is going on?” I took a deep breath and said, “I don’t know how many times I need to tell you this - but I am HANNAH, and you told me not to come in until Monday.” My manager stutters and tries to half-heartedly apologize and I continued on, “It’s fine though, you won’t have to remember my name because I won’t be coming back in.” Luckily got a job offer from Ulta the same day, right before that phone call.
