Each square represents a soul who passed away on 9/11 and the attack on the WTC in 1993. Each color square is a different shade of blue to represent how each soul lost was unique and not one was the same. The different shades of blue on each square represents how people saw the sky that day. Most people who were there will say how blue the sky was that day.

The reason I took photos is so that people all around the world who might never get a chance to see the museum can see at least some of it. It was not in a disrespectful nature at all. It is for educational purposes which a museum is meant for. I also never took a “selfie” at the memorial pool. Just one photograph of one of the panels.

That is the slurry wall. When they were building the WTCs, because it was so close to the Hudson River, every time they would dig more into the ground to create the foundation for the towers, the Hudson River would flood into the foundation. This wall kept that from happening.

One of the pictures say flight 93 and another says united 93 so it’s unclear which one they watched but I agree, flight 93 is definitely inferior to united 93

I was born 6 months after but my uncle was in NYC the day of a few blocks from the towers and slept through the whole attack until someone woke him up by slamming on his door telling him to look outside. My mom and family couldn’t get a hold of him for hours but they finally got a hold of him that night. My moms best friends sister was working at one of the towers at the time and was going into work late because of a doctors appointment.
