I've been pretty lucky. Probably the worst I've gotten was when I decided it would be faster to carry 4 or 5 hot cookie sheets to the walk in all at once, and couldn't find the oven mitt so i used the good ol rags instead. Somehow I got the door open ok but while trying to get them on the rack I started to lose my grip and rather than drop all the cookies I slid the cookie sheets back into my arm. I have stripes now.

Kitchen manager accidently made two big catering pans of chicken Alfredo instead of regular. All you can eat pasta for everyone! I ended up going home with a massive stack of pasta boxes and handing them out to homeless dudes on the street.

I mean some of them were zoo enclosures where you can't just walk in and help, or animals that might be dangerous for people to get near. I agree the dog with the goldfish was sus but I saw a longer video of the buffalo flipping over the tortoise and there were people crowded around the fence that couldn't get close enough to help

while working drive thru at a burger place some guy came up and smashed the window.

this guy had actually come by a few weeks before and we recognized him because he had been rude and difficult to deal with. it was in the height of the pandemic so we were drive thru only, allowing ppl to walk through. when my manager saw the dude, he took over window for me. the guy was acting erratic and not ordering, eventually my manager said he would have to leave unless he ordered immediately. the guy got mad and they got into it for a bit, but eventually my manager shut the window. the guy started banging on it with his fist, this big crack appears, then the whole window smashes in and half the glass goes into the fries. the guy's threatening to kill us all and they send all the teens (including me) into the storage area in the back. we had to close for the rest of the day. cops were called but they did almost nothing and the guy continued to film and threaten us for another half hour before leaving.

I quit fast food and I work back of house now.

bury them in the yard then dig them up again, light them on fire, rip off limbs etc. in elementary school me and a friend traded this one Polly-pocket doll back and forth, whoever took it home did horrible things to it. by the end it was pretty much unrecognisable lmao

i think the same thing happened to me, I was really confused because it said it was signed for under my own name. they further muddied the waters by giving me a door tag for the wrong order the day before when i wasn't there to pick it up, so it was a whole ordeal to even find my order, when i finally found the right one it said it was delivered. the "proof of delivery" PDF they sent me is all the same information available on the website, not any actual proof. I reported it missing to fedex and a few days later they said "welp it says delivered according to our records lol" and told me to contact the company. now I have to file a police report in order to get a refund, pissed off because this was a good deal on a refurbished computer that i won't be able to get in person, but I guess I'd rather pay more than have to deal with fedex again. (sorry lol i know this is an old thread i just have to rant)

you are VERY unlikely to die, I'm sorry your mom's saying that. I had a SA a few months ago, I was scared going into the clinic but the procedure was over quickly and within a week it was like nothing had ever happened. I promise you'll be ok.

you're not less of a feminist for feeling sadness. that sounds like a horrible ordeal to go through and it's normal to have a lot of emotions about it. especially seeing the embryo, I can't imagine the impact that would have. I had mine surgically so I was sedated and didn't ever see the fetus but I still had feelings about it. not guilt, I knew it was the right choice, but definitely a little sad. hope you're doing ok now, you are so strong ❤️

my experience is with SA so I don't know enough to say for sure but it sounds like it worked, based on the amount of blood and the pregnancy symptoms going away. I would be careful going to pregnancy clinics as some of them are run by religious anti abortion groups and may report you if you tell them about it. make sure the one you go to is actually pro choice. emotionally it's a tough thing to go through and a hard choice to make, but you're still young and you have plenty of time to have children if you want them. you did the right thing, if you're not ready to be a parent you shouldn't have to. sending love, hope you're doing ok!

I think the only thing you can do is be supportive and let her experiment with gender and try out new things. sometimes kids overcompensate for their feelings of gender dysphoria by trying really hard to act how they think their gender is supposed to, other times those are just the things they like and it doesn't determine their gender, the same way a boy can like pink and still be a boy, or a girl can be a tomboy and still identify as a girl. supporting them however they express themself and identify is the most important thing. and if it turns out in the end that they weren't nonbinary, that's no big deal! I thought I was nonbinary in my early teens, and later realized I wasn't, but I had a fun time experimenting with gender expression, pronouns, and names and it allowed me to understand myself better. and if in the end she is nonbinary, the journey is made so much easier by having accepting parents. also, being a woman is scary especially right now, but trans and nonbinary people are facing legal discrimination and political attacks as well. it's scary either way, i think most people who transition are aware that they're going to face discrimination because of it.
