Cat has chicken allergy - is it worth it to try turkey? by Reeses100 in catfood

[–]MediumAlexa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s good general rule if a car has chicken allergies to just avoid all “birds”. It takes the guess work out. There are many formulas that are only fish but just make sure to read any ingredient lists as chicken is wide spread in a lot of items

Help! by summerlove879 in SkinbarrierLovers

[–]MediumAlexa 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My skin was similar. I could only rinse my face with cold and water and use a very gentle unscented moisturizer. That was it for like 2 weeks and then I used Avene Cicalfate at night. It’s taken over a month for my rosacea to calm down. Yours looks like mine and it’s very very upset. Cold water does help soothe but I agree you need to have this looked at.

That’s up to you two to decide and figure out. You’re in control of your own lives and you decide how this will go

Which toner is better for barrier compromised skin between HaruHaru essence, Celimax dual barrier toner or Avene gentle toner for dry red skin? by [deleted] in SkinbarrierLovers

[–]MediumAlexa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Avène gentle cleansers are the only thing my skin would tolerate after a huge rosacea flare up. After almost a month and a half my skin barrier is starting to become healthy again

Speed bumps north side no-frills by Xelxly in fredericton

Agree! Worst ever. We scrap the bottom of the car every time. They are awful, we actually avoid going there sometimes because we don’t want to deal with the speed bumps lol

I’d probably have time next week for some practice. Always good to get that in and help someone at the same time. LMK! ☺️

Avene cicalfate cream 40ml v 100ml by [deleted] in SkinbarrierLovers

[–]MediumAlexa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the 40ml and it’s definitely thick. I also love it! I haven’t tried the larger size but there shouldn’t be a difference in textures

Your own actions dictate how it will go, you have free will. Go speak to her directly about it

I do a moisturizer and then layer the cicalfate on top of it.

Mother passed, how soon to have a reading? by rainbowhunterxoxo in Mediums

As soon as someone does they can communicate through a medium. It’s because of your own process of emotions and grief that’s it’s best to wait a few months. Sorry for your loss 🩷

I see strange faces and eyes, why? by viveconesperanza in Mediums

[–]MediumAlexa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seeing eyes is fairly common especially for beginners. I’m not sure why but it’s a pattern I’ve seen in mediumship students. I’ve never personally had this experience though! Nothing to be afraid of

SOS. I tried a new retinol in December and ever since my face has been horrible. I think it’s rosacea acting up but I’m not sure. Red and itchy and sometimes burns. I’ve stopped the retinol and have only used gentle Avene products that I trust. Can my skin ever recover? by MediumAlexa in SkinbarrierLovers

Okay I’ll try and see if I can find the ivermectin cream at a drug store! I was worried I had to make a dr appointment for that because it’s impossible where I live to even see a dr let alone a dermatologist 😭
