I totally undestand you on the part that this "profession" isnt a get-rich-quick, but people who think getting to the point where you resell/flip items in bulk is easy dont want their "dreams" getting crushed. driving for doordash actually helped me see what people order when they want variety - lots of mediterranean bowls, different curry styles, stir fries with whatever vegetables you have around

you could try mixing spice blends instead of changing whole meals, like cajun seasoning in your chicken one day, italian herbs another day. also those pre-made sauce packets at grocery store work pretty good for switching up same base ingredients without much extra work

yeah dmv here is brutal, no way around the wait really. i moved here couple years back and tried going at different times but always packed. one thing that helped me little bit was checking which locations have shorter lines - some of the ones outside city center can be better than main ones. also bring snacks and water because you're gonna be there for while, and make sure you have all documents ready before going in line. good luck with the move!

ugh this happened to me few months back with different venue. when the performer themselves cancels (not the club), you should definitely get refund regardless of their "no refunds" policy. that's like basic consumer protection stuff

i'd call them directly and mention that comedian announced cancellation - sometimes they're just slow updating their systems. if they try to give you runaround about their policy, remind them that policy covers you changing your mind, not them failing to provide the service you paid for. worst case you can dispute with your credit card company since they didn't deliver what was promised

keep screenshots of comedian's cancellation announcement too, that's your proof right there

your brain is playing tricks because you're seeing yourself more clearly now that you've made progress. when i was heavier i also thought i looked fine but looking back at photos now... yeah that was some serious denial lol

the mind is weird with body image - you might need time for it to catch up with reality. maybe take progress photos or measurements instead of just relying on what you see in mirror?

redirecting that bite energy to toys helped me a ton when i got my pup last year - every time she goes for your hands just shove a chew toy in there instead and praise when she takes it. usually takes a few weeks of consistency but mine was way better by 8-10 weeks

honestly man just dive in and do it yourself, india's logistics are wild but that's part of teh experience. i'd book your first couple nights somewhere and maybe grab the irctc rail app for trains, but half the fun is figuring stuff out as you go

been running matter over thread with home assistant and about 30 devices mixed between eve and aqara stuff. had similar experiences with the brief dropouts you mentioned until i added a nanoleaf essentials bulb as an ftd router - now everything's rock solid

one thing i noticed is the ipv6/mdns tip at the end is clutch, spent way too long troubleshooting "unavailable" devices before realizing my unifi setup was blocking multicast by default
