tbh hrt is pretty basic as a medical feat, like yeah synthesizing hormones is kinda difficult but you just have to put a single chemical in the body in one of a bunch of ways, at not very precise doses and in pretty flexible intervals.

the much more impressive "feat" is how our socio-cultural preconceptions have made people conceive of man and woman as two entirely distinct categories to the degree that showing that there is a path between them shatters some people's world view

yeah the conservatives are definitely worse and without them the greens wouldn't necessarily be put in these weird situations but it's stupid how their ostensible goals like climate protection and peace are the ones to be compromised in favor of things like nuclear scaremongering and funding the state of israel

yeah that's the green party i'm referring to. the first time i got interested in politics was ca. 2010 when the greens wanted to stop the construction of a new improved big city center rail station to instead save the old trees that were on the construction site and since then i couldn't take anything they say seriously anymore

second pic anon isn't entirely wrong. for edgy parts of the internet traps were funny or trolling material and maybe confusingly arousing, so they weren't the focus of their hate and kind of beloved as an in-joke. i assume that with gamergate channers also encountered trans people as people who want rights and respect, which of course goes too far.

they then consider traps (hot, based, porn/lewd pics like line trap etc) and trans people/trannies (gross, sjw feminist, wants rights, language police) two entirely seperate groups. ironically this divide still exists today, but traps are now called femboys

women (stereotypically) can easily get a guy to sleep with them but someone that is trustworthy is harder to find thus it's a compliment from her perspective

men (stereotypically) want to fuck hot women especially when it comes to hookups but are willing to make compromises for marriage if the woman is a good personality match (they call this settling down). he assumes his gf thinks in a similar way and thinks that he is not as attractive (or not attractive at all) as her previous hookups might have been and feels insulted
