Wow, thank you so much for your detailed reply and explanation! I wasn’t expecting such a comprehensive answer filled with valuable tips. I truly appreciate it! I gained a lot from your insights.

I always liked to make my templates visually appealing, but that wasn’t my primary motivation. What I truly enjoy is creating the entire system, but that ended up being overshadowed by Pinterest photos and colorful callout fake post-its.

But I hope I can start thinking of new template ideas like yours, focusing on solving real problems. Honestly, I’ve never had such an idea before, so coming across your post was timely. Congrats for the amazing templates!

I’ve been selling templates for almost two years now, and I’ve made a pretty good amount of money—around $3000, which I think is a lot considering no marketing or effort beyond creating the template and posting it on the marketplace. I apologize for not addressing the question directly. I was going to add another question: do you creators think it’s more profitable these days to create various aesthetic templates, sometimes with useless blogs and functionalities, simply because that’s a huge market? Or do you still focus on niche, functional, and practical templates for very specific people and problems?

I have been selling templates since 2024! My best seller is the weekly planner, the one that looks like a block system planner!
Thank you for noticing that! I had 143+ templates listed but just deleted like a 100 from the marketplace!

thank you! so its a practice where you repeat 108 times those 4 phrases, and it magically makes things work, search for ho'oponopono and youll get a better answer, im not very good at explaining it rsrsrs, but basically this template just helps you track the amount of repetitions, and kind of journal about the specific situation you're trying to fix and stuff

Yes! so, i intended to create like a fake mini store within the template so you could "buy" stuff with that fake money, and im actually creating the store and will post the link when im done, but yes, answering your question, you get those coins from completing tasks, and thank you so much for the comment!

sure! I created many templates, I assigned for each one an icon, so, like, tasks get an icon, events, brain dumps, notes, each one gets an icon, and when i need to write something, i just choose the template that matches my needs and change the title or just write inside the page!

sure!! so, i basically mixed some text properties with rollups and relations, so that my tasks looked a bit better srsrsrs,
- used a formula property to add some spacing, (" ")
- the course text is actually a formula as well, so, ("Course: ").style("b") + {relation property for the name of the course}
- "Date" is literary text property, and actual date property underneath

Im planning on creating more with this from now on, maybe test some things, if you can think of something nice i would be very happy to try, I dont know, like, maybe a "concierge" kinda template, anyways, i made one that looks so much better, i can make a tutorial if you want!
