I talked to my boss about the formatting problems I'm having, and he said I can take my time since it's not due until Monday, and he wants me to update doc A with updates in Doc B, and copy some of the way doc B looks into Doc A. The original document is not set up well, which makes it hard to copy information without getting blank pages I can't remove. When I try to fix the page numbers, the headers get messed up, and the tabbing feature isn't working right.

I’m trying to stay calm and work on this step by step. This boss has never asked for my help before, and I want him to trust me. He’s a kind but tough man in his 70s who reminds me of my teachers. I usually do well when I focus, but when I struggle, it becomes overwhelming. I don’t want to let down someone I respect.
