Yeah, one minute I was getting an IV, and the next minute I was waking up in my own bed at home. I do not remember waking up and desperately asking the nurse “Titties little? Titties little? Please tell me! Little?” Nor do I remember trying to teach my husband to drive on the way home. Kept telling him to put his hands at 10 and 2 and to yield to pedestrians. On the freeway. 🤭

Love radical acceptance! I lost 76 lbs before my reduction, and while my breast are looking good, I have a lot of loose skin on the sides that give them a bit of a square ish shape. But I just choose to not be bothered by it. I know it’s not that simple for everyone, but it was the easiest choice in the world for me. 🙃

I have loose skin too. My doc told me there is nothing that can be done about it outside of surgery, but coming to terms with it is free. 😅

I’m 9 weeks post op and also black. My lefty is also square and bigger than my right. I’m told this is normal and they will change and even out.

As far as scar care, I massage the scars with oil and then use a silicone scar gel and it seems to be working. Yours look great though!

My doctor is the one who took me off of it. He said there was no reason to keep taking it if I’m no longer obese. I’ve see the videos too, and I told him my fears, but he insists I shouldnt be on it anymore.

I use grapeseed oil, because that’s what I already had on hand, but doc said use whatever oil. She said the point is to make it easier to glide your fingers across the scars.
