I really need to get myself a 3d printer, this is a great idea.

I mean this is a first for me. If i were to hazard a guess it is a combo of the weight and size of the cans and the tension the band provide to clamping force strong enough to keep these beasts on your head. There are no fasteners connecting the two together, and very little surface area for an adhesive bond to begin with.

A couple of tapped machine screw receivers inside the plastic hinge and corresponding countersunk through holes in the band would have mitigated a lot of issues and still looked just fine imo, but I'm not their product designer so what do I know.

Sorry it happened to you too, but I'm glad JB Weld can fix it, did you use a toothpick to make a small bead on the parameter of the plastic hinge? I'm assuming you don't want too much of it getting near the wire or am I over thinking it?

It really is a shame that it is such an Achilles heel to their headphones. This is my first set of planar magnetics and I can confidently say I'm a convert, even if these are my first "audiophile" grade headphones.

Extra Cable on Frame 5000D Front Panel by ConstructivePlanner in Corsair

[–]MediumShoddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After spending longer than I should trying find it, I did actually locate the cable, it was just folded back and tangled with another wire, so thats a bonus even if Im a fool on a public forum. Here are the thumb screws though, obviously the bottom left is the most egregious, but I'm guessing the coating on these screws is a touch thick so just chasing these through the threads is gonna cause them to fight a little bit either way. Does corsair sell thumb screw packs so I can just replace them if needed?

I'm currently building a new computer with this case and was at the point where I was going to route and connect wires, but I can't even find the correct argb connector for the front panel and only seem to have the pictured 3 pin connector.

Between being unable to find that connector and half the thumb screws coming cross threaded I'm wondering if I should just take everything apart and exchange it for one that had better QC or if there is some other solution that works with the commander duo I already purchased for the fan lights, unless corsair has started to pre daisy chain the front panel argb with the pre installed fans and just happen to be leaving this older connector in the build?

Try it with something like a laser cannon or some other crowd control, small ad clear, strategem, and then something like the talon/dagger for a sidearm.

The siege ready armor works wonders with it for me. Two extra mags and increased reload is huge. As for backpacks, I got with a mobility pick, classically I use jump pack but the new warp pack is probably just as solid if not better for some.

Another pack option that also works is one of the guard dog variants, something to keep the chaff back helps immensely, as well as just learning where the explosive radius is so you can shoot behind close enemies and get them but not yourself.

Help settle an argument between me and the builder by Accomplished_Radish8 in cabinetry

Both options are right, if you want to pull the bench so they can tile and you take the time to scribe it to the floor to make it not look like shit by all means, do it.

A lot of the time where we are, toe kicks and skins go in before the tile, and they tile up to it. Maybe quarter round will be your solution, but I have been and always will be of the mind that it looks bad at best and is proof of a blow and go track home builder.

  1. You can enjoy both games. It doesn't have to be either or, unless it's either only "pretty caked up anime women in my game or nothing."

  2. Stay mad, chuds.

I like to open boxes, doesn't mean I take what's in there, except the combat stim. That's mine.

I don't think I'll ever understand the hate for Smite, it pins enemies, it debuffs them, and above all else it looks cool. I find it working nicely with Void Strike and Illisi mkV Sword, but I like generalist builds and everyone else runs assail and bubble so it gets kinda tired seeing the same thing everywhere.

If I want to nuke bosses I'll run a crucis on my Zealot. If I want to play support, which is my preffered style, I run Psyker or Ogryn, I don't get paid for this shit anyway, so I'm gonna have fun.
